The Veterinary Student Achievers’ Society (VSAS) launches PAWS AND PLATES, a long-term initiative that aims to provide food and clean water for stray animals around the CSU–Carig Campus.

We currently have five feeder stations around the vicinity of the campus:

If you’re a student and happen to pass by a feeder station, feel free to refill it whenever needed. 🐾

In line with International Homeless Animals’ Day, observed every August 15, we hope to remind everyone that animals without homes deserve care and compassion, too.

The Veterinary Student Achievers’ Society (VSAS) has officially installed five feeder stations around the CSU–Carig Campus to provide accessible food and clean water for our campus stray animals. 🤍

The feeder stations are now open and can be visited anytime by students, faculty, and staff who wish to help refill the food and water or check on the stations.

2. The player receives 3 small discs.
3. The objective is to completely cover the large red circle on the game board using all 3 discs.
4. The player must drop the discs one at a time onto the board.
5. Once a disc is dropped, it cannot be moved or adjusted.
6. After all 3 discs are dropped, the operator will check the board.
7. If any part of the red circle is still visible, the player does not win.
8. If the red circle is completely covered, the player wins a...
9. The game ends after the 3 discs have been used.

🐾 NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION AWARENESS MONTH FOR OUR PETS! 🐾

This August, let's not forget our furry friends! Immunization Awareness Month is also a great reminder that vaccines are just as important for our pets as they are for us. 💉

Fun Facts:
✨ Rabies vaccines for pets have helped drastically reduce rabies cases in humans worldwide
✨ Core vaccines for dogs and cats protect against diseases like rabies, distemper, and parvovirus
✨ Puppies and kittens usually need a series of vaccines, followed by regular boosters
✨ Vaccinating your pet doesn't just protect them, it helps protect other animals and people too!

Did you know? Just like in humans, pet vaccines work by training their immune system to recognize and fight off dangerous diseases before they even get sick. Skipping vaccinations puts not just your pet at risk, but also your family and community. 🛡️

This month, let's remind fellow pet owners to:
✅ Check if their pet's vaccines are up to date
✅ Visit a licensed veterinarian for a vaccination schedule
✅ Get community pets and strays vaccinated too, especially against rabies

𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏

Our sister, Shaina Bonilla, was involved in an accident on August 11, 2026. She underwent surgery on both of her feet and is currently recovering at De Vera Medical Center in Santiago City.

We are humbly asking for your support in helping us raise ₱112,000 for her medical implants, which are essential to her recovery. Any amount, big or small, will be deeply appreciated and will mean so much to Sis Shaina and her family.
