Tukuran Municipal Fire Station conducted a House-to-House Survey at Barangay Curvada, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur, as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen fire prevention and promote community safety.

During the activity, BFP personnel visited households to gather relevant information, assess potential fire hazards, and raise awareness about fire safety practices. Residents were also reminded of the importance of maintaining safe surroundings, preventing fire incidents, and knowing the proper actions to take during emergencies.

Through this initiative, the BFP continues to strengthen its connection with the community and encourage every household to take an active role in creating a safer and fire-safe environment.

Tukuran Municipal Fire Station conducted Talakayan sa Pamayanan: Fire Safety on Demand to strengthen fire safety awareness and promote community participation in fire prevention and emergency preparedness, held at Municipal Gymnasium, Brgy. Curvada, Tukuran.

During the activity, BFP personnel discussed essential fire safety practices, common causes of fire, preventive measures, and the proper actions to take during fire emergencies. The activity also provided an opportunity for community members to raise concerns, ask questions, and gain valuable knowledge on protecting their families, properties, and surroundings from fire hazards.

Through this initiative, the BFP continues to bring fire safety education closer to the community and encourage everyone to take an active role in preventing fire incidents.

Curvada, Tukuran.

Through this activity, the children and their parents learned essential fire safety practices, proper responses during fire emergencies, and the importance of prevention and preparedness. The activity also encouraged parents to guide their children in developing safety-conscious habits at home and in the community.

The BFP remains committed to educating and empowering families, especially the younger generation, in building a safer and fire-safe community.

Sa panahon ng El Niรฑo, tumataas ang panganib ng sunog dahil sa matinding init at tuyong kapaligiran. Maging handa at responsable upang maiwasan ang sunog at maprotektahan ang buhay at ari-arian.

โœ… Iwasang magsunog ng basura o tuyong damo, lalo na sa mahangin na lugar.
โœ… Patayin at i-unplug ang appliances kapag hindi ginagamit.
โœ… Iwasang mag-overload ng electrical outlets at extension cords.
โœ… Ilayo ang mga madaling masunog na materyales sa mga pinagmumulan ng init.
โœ… Panatilihing ligtas at maayos ang mga lutuan at LPG connections.

Itago sa malamig at maaliwalas na lugar.
Ilagay ang mga flammable liquid sa lugar na malayo sa direktang sikat ng araw at matinding init.

Ilayo sa apoy at pinagmumulan ng init.
Huwag mag-imbak malapit sa kalan, LPG, sigarilyo, electrical equipment, o anumang maaaring pagmulan ng spark.

Lagyan ng malinaw na label ang mga lalagyan.
Tiyaking nakalagay ang pangalan ng substance at naaangkop na warning label.
Ilayo sa mga bata at alagang hayop.

Gamitin ang tamang lalagyan.
Panatilihin ang gasolina, thinner, pintura, at iba pang flammable liquid sa angkop at aprubadong lalagyan na mahigpit ang takip.

Tandaan:
Ang singaw ng mga likidong madaling magliyab ay maaaring mabilis kumalat at sumiklab kapag may apoy o spark. Itago ang mga ito nang maayos, malayo sa init at anumang ignition source.
