PBDD conducts DARMO Target Setting in Tulunan

Last August 19, 2026, the Program Beneficiaries Development Division (PBDD) of DAR Provincial Office of Cotabato conducted a DARMO Performance Assessment, ARBO Status Analysis, Development Intervention Planning, and 2nd Semester Target Leveling Meeting at DARMO Tulunan.

Led by SARPT Cheryl Pedtamanan and ARPO I Ronell Pelegros, the activity focused on reviewing DARMO Tulunan’s performance, setting targets, identifying gaps, and discussing practical strategies to help the office catch up with its remaining targets and accomplish them within the prescribed period.

DAR–LGU Tulunan Coordination Meeting on IPARC Project

Earlier this morning, DAR Municipal Office of Tulunan personnel, led by MARPO Roanne Michelle T. Alberto, accompanied personnel from the Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office – Cotabato in a coordination meeting with the Local Chief Executive of LGU Tulunan, Hon. Lee Roy V. Villasor, CE, together with some of the Municipal Government’s office heads.

The meeting discussed matters relative to the prioritization of proposed infrastructure investments and the identification of potential agribusiness enterprises under the Inclusive Partnership for Agrarian Reform Communities (IPARC) Project.

The activity highlights the continued coordination and partnership between DAR and LGU Tulunan in supporting initiatives that will benefit Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries and their communities.

Blessing and Thanksgiving for the New DAR Municipal Office of Tulunan

Yesterday, the DAR Municipal Office of Tulunan held the blessing and thanksgiving for its new office located within the Municipal Hall Compound of LGU Tulunan. The three-door facility had already been serving as the new workplace of DAR Tulunan, providing a more conducive and strategic location for serving our ARBs, clients, and the general public.

The fellowship was indeed a meaningful occasion for everyone who helped make this milestone possible. The activity was graced by Rev. Fr. Alberto Fordan III, DCK, and was warmly joined by several Heads of Offices of LGU Tulunan, led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Lee Roy V. Villasor, CE, together with representatives from the DAR Provincial Office of Cotabato, PCAO Lelanie L. Carugda and CARPO for Operations Ma’am Leah S. Ortega.

The transfer to a permanent DAR office within the Municipal Hall Compound was made possible through the initiative and efforts of our three MARPOs—Sir Reno D. Olivares, Ma’am Mary Joy P. Clarito, and Ma’am Roanne Michelle T. Alberto—with the full support of LGU Tulunan, headed by Mayor Villasor, and the Sangguniang Bayan, headed by Hon. Rhezan P. Obrique, as well as the DAR Provincial Office of Cotabato, headed by PARPO II Evangeline C. Bueno, MPS-DM, MPM-RD.

It is with sincere gratitude that we thank LGU Tulunan and DARPO Cotabato for their support and cooperation in making this possible. Having a permanent office within the Municipal Hall Compound will help us continue bringing agrarian reform services closer to the people of Tulunan.

We also extend our appreciation to everyone who took the time to join us and celebrate this momentous occasion. Your presence made the gathering truly meaningful and festive.

🎨 CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS! 🎨

Kabataang Anak ng ARBs, this is for YOU!

In celebration of the DAR XII CARPER Anniversary with the theme "CARPER at 18: Harvesting Unity, Celebrating Service", we are inviting young artists to join our REGIONWIDE POSTER MAKING CONTEST!

✨Show your creativity and tell the story of CARPER through art! ✨
Let your posters reflect 18 years of unity, service, and the hope that agrarian reform brings to our farmers and communities.

MECHANICS
1. PARTICIPANTS :
• Open to children of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries from Region XII. ARB household children are allowed.
• Age: 10-17 years old
• 3-5 contestants per province

2. Format and Duration
• On-the-spot poster making to be conducted at the DARMO where the contestant/s reside
• Contestants and facilitators will convene thru MS Teams to ensure that rules are followed
• Duration: 2 hours
• Materials: 1/4 illustration board and oil pastel shall be provided by DARRO XII with identifying mark/seal.
• Other coloring mediums like chalk pastel, crayons, and markers are allowed but shall be provided by the DARPO.
• No reference materials, sketches, or templates allowed

3. Theme
• "CARPER AT 18: Harvesting Unity, Celebrating Service"

4. Criteria for Judging - 100%
• Relevance to Theme: 40% - How well it depicts the message
• Originality & Creativity: 30% - Unique concept and artistry
• Visual Impact: 20% - Clarity of message and overall presentation
• Neatness: 10% - Cleanliness and order of work

5. Guidelines
• Work must be original. No assistance from coaches/guardians/DARMOs during the contest
• Write on the back of the illustration board: Name, Age, Province, Municipality
• All participants must stop working after 2 hours. Late submissions will be disqualified
• All entries will become property of DAR XII and may be used for IEC materials
• The decision of the judges is final

6. Prizes
• 1st Place: Cash Prize + Gift
• 2nd Place: Cash Prize +Gift
• 3rd Place: Cash Prize + Gift
• Certificate for all participants

7. Important Dates
• Deadline of Submission of Names of Participants: August 10, 2026
• Contest Date: August 15, 2026 (Saturday, 10 AM)
• Submission of Entries to DARRO: On or before August 16, 2026
• Awarding Ceremony: August 17, 2026 (The Top 3 entries will be invited to attend, along with one member of their family, and the MARPO of their respective municipality)
