We were honored to welcome Mr. Norberto O. Chingcuanco, VP for Corporate Planning of FEEDMIX Specialist Inc., together with the BFAR Provincial, for a site inspection and courtesy call to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Angelito B. AniΓ±on.

The team conducted a site inspection at the Logpond area and proceeded to the Looc-Labuan overview site for potential investors. Present during the activity were Hon. Arvie Arcillas, Atty. Al Gerald Mendoza, OIC MENRO Ronelito O. Manuel and Fishery Technician Salem H. Pitong.

This visit marks another positive step toward strengthening partnerships and exploring investment opportunities for the growth and development of our municipality.

This benchmarking activity serves as a valuable platform for learning, collaboration, and strengthening inter-regional partnerships. Through shared experiences, discussions, and site visits, participants were able to gain deeper insights into sustainable salt production techniques, quality improvement, and industry challenges and opportunities.

The presence of representatives from Cebu and Bohol, alongside the technical guidance and support of BFAR Region IX, highlights our shared commitment to advancing the local salt industry, empowering producers, and promoting food security and livelihood development in our coastal communities.
