As Ubay marks its 179th Founding Anniversary, the Ubay Tourism Office invites public and private high schools to come together for a celebration of Philippine culture through the grace, energy, and artistry of folk dance. This is more than a competition—it is a chance for our young learners to discover, appreciate, and proudly showcase the traditions that connect us to our roots.

Last Friday, August 7, 2026, the LGU Panglao Tourism Office, headed by 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙇𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖, together with 𝙈𝙨. 𝙀𝙡𝙫𝙞𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤, President of the Panglao Travel and Tours Association, paid a courtesy visit to LGU Ubay as part of their initiative to promote Bohol’s diverse tourism offerings.

The visit is part of their ongoing efforts to showcase Bohol in key gateway centers, particularly ports, where tourists first arrive and begin their journey around the province. Through this initiative, informative materials and audiovisual presentations will help introduce visitors to the many destinations, experiences, and tourism sites that Bohol has to offer.

LGU Ubay Tourism Office under the Office of the Mayor is grateful to have been included in this initiative as we work together in promoting Bohol not just as a destination, but as a province full of places worth discovering. The final AVP will soon bring these tourism stories together and inspire more visitors to explore beyond the usual stops.
