IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL APPLICANTS OF THE
CFIDP- COCONUT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (CoScho)

Please be informed that the receipt of requests for National Coconut Farmers Registration System (NCFRS) Certification for the CFIDP – Coconut Scholarship (CoScho) Program application at the PCA Region VII & Negros Island Region (NIR) Regional and Provincial Offices through the official
e-mail address at [email protected] will be until AUGUST 26, 2026 (Wednesday), at 5:00 PM.

This deadline is set to give our designated Point Persons ample time to process the voluminous requests being submitted by applicants and, at the same time, to give due consideration to the CHED Regional Offices’ deadline for the submission of Coconut Scholarship applications on AUGUST 31, 2026.

All concerned applicants are strongly advised to submit their requests for NCFRS Certification on or before August 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM to allow sufficient time for processing and completion of their scholarship requirements.

Please be guided accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Building Roots for a Stronger Tomorrow: Highlights of the First-Ever CVCSPC Team Building 🌴✨

The Philippine Coconut Authority - Central Visayas Coconut Seed Production Center (PCA-CVCSPC) successfully conducted its milestone, first-ever Team Building activity held at the Ubay Seedgarden. Anchored on the powerful theme "Stronger Together, Greater Tomorrow," the event was actively participated in by 94 dedicated seedgarden personnel.

We express our profound appreciation and gratitude to our dynamic facilitator and host, Sir Paul G. Hibaya, whose high-energy engagement and masterful facilitation made this landmark event both highly successful and deeply memorable. We also extend our sincere thanks to his colleague, Sir Jay A. Doydora, for sharing his valuable expertise during our insightful morning sessions.

The valuable lessons gained from their leadership training have profoundly enriched us as employees, equipping the Ubay Team with a stronger sense of unity, purpose, and good leadership.
It was an exceptional day where profound professional learning perfectly blended with meaningful fun and camaraderie.

The energy continued into the afternoon session, highlighted by a friendly volleyball match among the staff. This match served as the perfect venue for everyone to apply the core values of sportsmanship, strategy, and teamwork learned earlier in the day. It was a truly delightful experience as all employees enthusiastically participated, cheered each other on, and thoroughly enjoyed the friendly competition.

A resounding commendation goes out to all the seedgarden employees, spearheaded by our supportive Officer-in-Charge, Ms. Mary Cres M. Sido. Thank you for demonstrating an exemplary spirit of participation, true teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the entire activity. It was, indeed, a job well done!

Finally, we take this opportunity to extend our deepest gratitude to our Regional Manager, Aurora Paquibot, whose vision and invaluable support made this impactful event possible at the Ubay Seedgarden. Finally, we mark the conclusion of the Specialized Training Course on Coconut Agro-Technology.
It was a profound honor for the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Central Visayas Coconut Seed Production Center to host and facilitate this critical initiative.
We congratulate our 37 participants from various regions for their dedication throughout this program.
As our inaugural hosting of this specialized course, this achievement represents an impactful success for our Region 7.
We express our deepest gratitude to Regional Manager III Aurora L. Paquibot for her steadfast leadership, and to Engr. Rhea Ocay for her unwavering support.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to our esteemed resource speakers who shared their invaluable expertise.
This milestone was made possible through the collective dedication of the PCA-CVCSPC team, under the leadership of Engr. Mary Cres M. Take a look back at the highly intensive and rewarding sessions during Day 10 and Day 11 of the Specialized Training Course on Coconut Agro-Technology.

💡 Day 10: Building the FoundationThe focus was heavily on mastering communication and field delivery. Participants attended a comprehensive lecture on Extension Principles, Approaches, and Methods, highlighting critical areas like Community Organizing. Led by Sir John Leonard Calacay (AGRI II), the day concluded with intensive preparatory activities to set everyone up for success.

Day 11: Stepping into the SpotlightThe preparation paid off as participants took center stage for their Individual Presentations for Extension Skills Assessment with Feedbacking from Evaluators. Over these two days, trainees put their communication, strategy, and extension knowledge to the test.

🌴 Day 9 of the Specialized Course on Coconut Agrotech Training!

🥥Yesterday, our participants dove deep into the frameworks driving the future of the coconut industry.
The morning session focused on a comprehensive overview of the guidelines for implementing PCA Coconut Productivity Programs and Projects, highlighting key initiatives like the Massive Coconut Planting Program, Coconut Fertilization Project, and Coconut Hybridization Program, other CFIDP PAPs.

The afternoon session continued with vital discussions on the operational procedures of RA 8048 as amended and the Coconut Village Development Project.

We were also honored to have a quick visit from our CPD Manager, Ma'am Jen Camacho, along with dedicated staff from the Central Office, who dropped by to show their support for the ongoing training!

Huge thanks to our speakers, Jelly Uy (Admin Officer )and Mel Andrue Oroc (CPRO III), as well as our Training Management Team, for guiding today's impactful sessions!
