I read this from JR Cuyam and i love to share his input.
Not everyone shares the goodness of the Lord in a smooth or polished way. It depends on a person’s character. Alvin may sound intense. He may sound like he’s sharing with anger. But he has boldness. He still speaks. He still opens his mouth. He shares in his own way.
Iyaha man gud ng baba ug experience so, bahala na siya.
Yes, maybe he made mistakes. Who doesn’t? All of us have. One of his mistakes, perhaps, is sharing the truth without brakes — no filter, no soft landing. But the truth he speaks is written in Scripture. The message itself is not new.
If you can share the gospel with more gentleness, then that’s a plus...the right way of doing it. Do it. That’s your advantage. The important thing is that the gospel is shared.
I understand why many Christians are upset. In their hearts, they’re thinking, “That’s not how Jesus would say it. He should have been softer. He should have said it this way.” And they often quote the story of the woman caught in adultery.
It’s true — Jesus did not condemn the woman. But the story did not end with comfort alone. He told her, “Go, and sin no more.” There was mercy. But there was also warning.
Jesus was not always soft in tone. He warned cities that their judgment would be worse than Sodom’s if they refused to repent.
Same sa tone ni Alvin towards his step...
"If you don't repent, God will throw you to h..." May 'IF' nga diba, dilo pato judgment. WARNING to.
He called the Pharisees “brood of vipers” and “whitewashed tombs.” He even told some of them, “You are of your father the devil.” Those were not gentle phrases.
Yet all of it was spoken in truth and love — confronting hypocrisy, exposing pride, and calling people to repentance.
Truth can sound sharp. But sharp does not always mean hateful.
The moment you open your mouth to share the gospel — especially the warnings found in Scripture — you are not automatically being judgmental. Sometimes you are loving the hard way. Love does not only comfort. Love also corrects. Love also warns.
Look at our nation. Could it be that the Lord is allowing shaking again, so that what can be shaken will fall — and what cannot be shaken will remain?
Because of Izzy and Alvin’s issue, the gospel is being forcefully preached across social media and in many places throughout the Philippines.
Many are angry.
Many are awakened.
Many who were pretending are shaken.
And many who are genuine have grown even bolder.
Sometimes God allows conflict to expose hearts.
Sometimes He uses problems to display His glory and fulfill His purpose.
Yes, Alvin may have flaws. We all do.
But the greater danger is knowing what is right — and never saying it.
So if you believe you can communicate better than him, start now. If you are blessed with clarity, wisdom, and gentleness — use it. That is your advantage.
“Look at the nations and watch — and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” — Habakkuk 1:5
