Ipinababatid po namin na nagkaroon ng pagbabago sa itinakdang oras ng payout.

Hinihiling po namin ang inyong pang-unawa at pakikiisa. Mangyaring dumating sa itinakdang bagong oras at huwag kalimutang dalhin ang mga sumusunod:

* Apat (4) na photocopy ng PWD ID
* Sariling pagkain at inumin

Upi Holds Women with Disabilities Day Celebration 2026

Women with disabilities from different barangays in the Municipality of Upi gathered today May 13, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium in Nuro, Upi, Maguindanao del Norte, for the celebration of Women with Disabilities Day.

The activity highlighted the importance of inclusion, empowerment, and recognition of the rights and contributions of women with disabilities in the community. Local officials, partner agencies, and sectoral leaders delivered messages of support and encouragement, reaffirming their commitment to programs and services for persons with disabilities.

Informative discussions were also conducted to educate and inspire participants. Topics included disability rights and current programs discussed by Mr. Jihad M. Maulana, RN, MPA of the Provincial Persons with Disability Affairs Office; gender-based violence protection presented by PSSg Hannah Zusaine G. Rosal; and environmental awareness shared by Ms. Marilyn Bravo of the MENRO Office.

In order for the event to have more significance as well as enjoyment, one of the activities of this event was the “Musika ng Kababaihan” singing contest that included many different barangay clusters, parlor games, and "Serbisyo Para Kay Juana" that offered services of free manicures pedicures and haircut for all the participants.

This celebration demonstrated the ongoing efforts of the municipality to further promote equality, active participation, and empowerment among women with disabilities.

With gratitude and appreciation, PDAO Upi proudly received the second batch of donated computer sets with Signing Pads from the National Council on Disability Affairs during the “Training on the Unified Persons with Disability ID System and Updates on Disability Development Initiatives” conducted on May 5–7, 2026 at the NCDA Building, Brgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City.

These donated equipment will significantly improve our office operations, particularly in encoding, processing, and maintaining records for the PRPWD and the UPWDIS. Through this support, we can continue providing more efficient, accessible, and quality services to persons with disabilities in our municipality.

Thank you, NCDA, for your continuous commitment and support to local PDAO offices and for strengthening programs that uphold inclusion and empowerment for the persons with disability sector.

Happening now: Women with disabilities from 23 barangays joined a Gender Sensitivity Training organized by OND HESED Foundation, Inc. with the support of GAD and PDAO at the San Isidro Labrador Formation Center.

Commission on Human Rights speakers are leading discussions on Gender Sensitivity, the Magna Carta of Women, Safe Spaces Act, and Anti-VAWC Law.
