August 17, 2014- More than dozens of arranged flowers were offered to the bust of the late Hon. Mayor Aurelio F. Freires Sr. during the Floral Offering in connection with the 67th Araw ng Lebak Celebration held in front of the Lebak Municipal Hall. Attendees enjoyed the free cups of coffee sponsored by the Lebak LGU which preceded the activity. :-)

August 14, 2014- 1st Marine Brigade Officers and Personnel joined the Clean-Up Drive along the Tibpuan main Road to Brgy. Tibpuan Small Round Ball in connection with the 67th Araw ng Lebak Celebration.

August 11, 2014- With the theme "Human Rights Based Approach to Development," 1st Marine Brigade together with IPDEV Project Manager Ms. Aveen Acuṅa-Gulo attended the Forum and Thanksgiving Day Celebration on the International World IP Day held at San Isidro Parish Church, Upi, Maguindanao.

August 11, 2014- The 1st Marine Brigade facilitated the dialogue/consultation of the Indigenous People of Lebak. It was participated by the 8th Marine Battalion, LGU of Lebak, Lebak PNP, Indigenous People Mandatory Representative (IPMR), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Silvicultural Industries Incorporated (SII).

August 12, 2014- 1st Marine Brigade attended the PAMANA-SLP Turn-over Ceremony held at Salaman Institute Gymnasium, Poblacion 1, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat. The event was also attended by Lebak Mayor Hon. Dionesio B. Besana, Lebak Vice Mayor Hon. Gerardo S. Delasan, MSWD Head Mrs. Lerma G. Loria, SLP Head, DSWD XII Noraidah T. Basuran, SLPA Federation President Mr. Vivencio Necesito Jr., and other stakeholders.

August 08, 2014- 1st Marine Brigade, 601st (Brigade Phil. Army), Sultan Kudarat State University, MinDA, LGU Chief Executives and Officials of Lebak, Kalamansig, Palimbang and Senator Ninoy Aquino all of Sultan Kudarat Province gathered in order to acquire a Master Development Plan for the Four (4) municipalities of Sultan Kudarat.

August 05, 2014- BGEN EDMUNDO R PANGILINAN AFP visits Headquarters, 1st Marine Brigade for the first time as Commander of the Joint Task Force Central. BGEN PANGILINAN AFP was able to talk to the neighboring municipal mayors in the Area of Operations of the 1st Marine Brigade, Lebak and Kalamansig.

July 05, 2014- A fun run dubbed as Run for Peace 2014 was held in partnership with the 1st Marine Brigade, 8th Marine Battalion, 7th Marine Battalion, PG 388, PNP Lebak, Kiwanis Club of Lebac, local entrepreneurs, LGU Lebak and students/faculty of Salaman Institute.
