*PSU Urdaneta launches all-out drive to help frontliners*

Medical and non-medical frontliners around Urdaneta City received a morale boost from the PSU Administration last April 1, 2020 as they received a simple token for their bravery and heroism in leading the battle against the vicious and deadly COVID-19. This initiative came as a very timely morale booster for the healthcare workers and other frontliners as there are several of them who already succumbed to the viral disease.

PSU Administration is one in recognizing the crucial role being played by the frontliners in the drive to flatten the curve. Day in and day out, frontliners perform their duties despite the great risks of contracting the viral disease. In support to the frontliners, the PSU administration is finding various ways to lighten up their situation by extending help and encouraging all frontliners amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the time of writing, the drive to help the frontliners is already on its third day of operation and will immediately resume tomorrow and this coming Wednesday.

Officials of the Municipality of Bani, Pangasinan visited PSU-Urdaneta City Campus on February 28, 2020 to seek technical assistance from our experts in the College of Engineering and Architecture for the development of ecopark project in the said municipality.

The Pangasinan State University through Dr. Paulo V. Cenas, Vice President for Research and Extension, together with Prof. Benica S. Briones, Director for Extension; Engr. Marlon R. Malabanan, OIC Urdaneta Extension Office; and Ar. Simeon C. Rico Jr., Chair - Archi Department, attended a consultation meeting on February 12, 2020 with the officials of the Municipality of Bani Pangasinan in response to the request of Mayor Gwen Yamamoto. Dr. Cenas presented the profile of PSU then discussed the different exension projects and programs offered by the University.
