It has always been our steadfast commitment to capacitate our Child Development Workers (CDWs), particularly on effective classroom management, to ensure the delivery of quality Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) services to our young learners. Through a recently concluded learning visit, our team had the valuable opportunity to observe three (3) recognized Child Development Centers (CDCs) and one (1) National Child Development Center (NCDC) in Masbate City, gaining insights into best practices for structured learning environments and positive classroom management. We extend our deepest gratitude to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Felipe U. Sanchez, for graciously allowing us to conduct this learning session and for his unwavering, and continued support of the ECCD Program in our municipality. Heartfelt thanks to our Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO), Maam Leah A. Barruga; your leadership and guidance continually inspire us to pursue professional growth and excellence in service. We are equally grateful for the strong partnership and warm hospitality of the City Social Welfare and Development Office of Masbate City, headed by OIC-CSWDO Maam Maria Hanna D. Mirandilla, and Ma'am Mary Ann Tuason, dedicated ECCD Focal Person. Your wonderful accommodation made this benchmarking activity a resounding success. Lastly, our deep appreciation goes to the Child Development Teachers (CDTs) and Workers (CDWs) of the host centers for opening their doors to us, as well as to all supportive Barangay Captains who generously allowed the child development workers of their respective barangays to participate in this “Lakbay-Aral.” Together, we continue to elevate early childhood education and classroom excellence for our children!

We are officially gearing up for Cycle 16 of our Supplementary Feeding Program! We’ve just wrapped up our market research to gather current pricing on perishable and non-perishable goods. This vital information helps the DSWD craft nutritious & delicious menus for the 2-4 years old children enrolled in our Child Development Centers. A heartfelt thank you to all the vendors who shared their time —your support helps us keep our children healthy and happy!

A moment of profound gratitude for the Municipal Federation of Child Development Workers Inc. of LGU Uson! 🙏
We extend our sincerest thanks to our generous donor, Atty. Karen R. Esparraguerra, for her invaluable donation of {P}30,000. This is the first time our federation has received such a significant donation, and it will be an immense help in our mission.

We procured and distributed essential learning materials for the 34 Child Development Centers (CDCs) and the 38 Child Development Workers (CDWs) who were deeply affected by Typhoon Opong.

Your kindness and support are a true blessing to our children and communities! Maraming salamat po! 💖

Thank you also to our MSWDO Leah Barruga for your support.

"Empowered with knowledge! 💡 Just wrapped up the Capacity Building on ITED Program at Hotel St. Benilde (Sept 29-Oct 3, 2025) and I'm buzzing with insights! 🤯 Key takeaways:

✨ 0-5 is the golden window of opportunity for child's development
✨ 90% of brain development happens before age 5
✨ Understanding developmental milestones in children
✨Theme(Activities & Experiences)= Base on the Interest+ Developmental Needs
✨Always give emphasis on the Process than the Product

Plus, I learned how to create engaging activity plans for little ones (0-2.11 yrs) using LRP 3, Core Dev., ECCD Checklist & ECCD Card! 📚🎨 Can't wait to apply these learnings and make a difference in young lives! 🌟

Thank you to our LCE Hon. Felipe U. Sanchez for your support to the ECCD Program & Ma'am Leah A. Barruga & Ma'am Jinky Gelotin Dela Peña for your guidance & support also.
