Equipped, empowered, and ready to serve! 💪❤️

Our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs) just completed their Roll-Out Orientation on PhilPEN Risk Assessment and TB Preventive Treatment (TPT) Contact Investigation last May 29, 2026 at Valderrama Primary Care Facility.

Through interactive mini-workshops on form-filling and return demonstrations, our health heroes mastered the tools needed to effectively protect our community.

SERBISYO PARA KANINYO!🫶🏻

A highly successful "Serbisyo sa Barangay" initiative was conducted yesterday, May 28, 2026 at Brgy. Buluangan 1!

This massive health outreach was led by our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Lee Denver Lacson, in strong support of our Local Chief Executive, Hon. Jocelyn L. Posadas, who consistently prioritizes health under her administration. The medical team was joined by our dedicated nurses, midwives, dentist, pharmacist, sanitary inspector, and administrative staff.

This event was made possible through the close coordination and full support of the Brgy. Buluangan 1 headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Vivian Regondon and her council members, who seamlessly facilitated the venue logistics, as well as the meals and snacks for the entire team.

Here is the summary of yesterday's accomplishments:

🔹 Health & Medical Services:
• Dental Services: 80 children received free Fluoride Application and were gifted dental kits to promote early oral hygiene.
• X-ray Services: 105 patients were successfully served by Zurehealth Medical Services, proudly provided by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) through the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).
• Medical Consultations: 222 patients served
• Pharmacy: 67 patients provided with free medicines
• Laboratory: 3 patients received Random Blood Sugar testing & 5 patients referred for GenXpert

🔹 YAKAP & PhilHealth Registration:
• YAKAP Registration: 130 processed for registration / 73 successfully registered
• PhilHealth: 12 residents assisted with account updating and registration

🔹 Nutrition & Special Subsidies:
• Oplan Batang Tangkad: 2 beneficiaries received 2 half sacks of rice each as their initial allocation for the 3-month subsidy program.
• Health Promotion: Conducted vital awareness sessions on Oral Health and Nutrition for Pregnant Women.

🔹 WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene):
• 20 residents received Mosquito Rolls, and 1 water sample was successfully collected by our sanitary team for safety testing.

The Valderrama Primary Care Facility, through our dedicated health advocacy team, successfully conducted another leg of the “Talak-Serye” initiative at Barangay Ubos last May 21, 2026, focusing on Hypertension Awareness Month and integrated oral health services!

Our team led an in-depth narrative discussion on hypertension—tackling its root causes, the importance of regular screening, and effective lifestyle management.

Recognizing that a healthy body includes a healthy smile, our Facility Dentist was also on-site! The dentist provided comprehensive oral health assessments, consultations, and shared vital education on proper dental hygiene.

By bringing our healthcare professionals and services directly to the grassroots, Valderrama PCF continues its mission to make health literacy and preventative care accessible to every Valderramanhon.

Heartfelt thanks to the Barangay Ubos Council, our hard-working Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and all the residents who actively participated! Together, let's keep our hearts healthy and our smiles bright! ❤️🦷

Serbisyo sa Barangay: Bringing Healthcare Closer to You!

We successfully conducted the Purokalusugan Strategy yesterday, May 14, 2026 at Brgy. San Agustin, ensuring that essential health services reach the heart of our community. Despite a minor technical hiccup with our digital registrations, our team worked tirelessly to serve hundreds of residents.

Here is a summary of yesterday’s activity:
• Medical Consultations: 229 patients treated 🩺
• Pharmacy: 204 patients provided with necessary medications 💊
• Dental Services: 51 children and 7 expectant mothers received oral care 🦷
• WASH (Water, Sanitation, & Hygiene): 2 water samples collected for safety testing and 25 mosquito rolls distributed to combat dengue 🦟
• Health Promotion (USAPAN): Empowering families through reproductive health education.
• 4 New Acceptors
• 1 Restart
• 1 Method Change

For the Municipality of Valderrama, circumcision will be done in Valderrama Municipal Hospital on May 28, 2026.

BRGY. LUBLUB — In a steadfast commitment to public health and community welfare, a joint health initiative was successfully conducted last April 16, 2026, at Brgy. Lublub Gym. The event integrated a Voluntary Blood Letting Activity with the Serbisyo sa Barangay program.

The dual-purpose event aimed to address the critical need for local blood reserves while providing immediate medical interventions for the residents.
