In line with the strengthened campaign against illegal drugs spearheaded by City Mayor Hon. Amie G. Galario and City Vice Mayor Hon. Greizl Galario-Fernandez, the Anti-Illegal Drugs and Substance Abuse Division (AIDSAD), headed by Mr. Giovanni C. Asis, in collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), represented by OIC-PBO IO I James Narvasa, conducted a pre-assessment of the documents submitted by Barangays Catumbalon, Mabuhay, Pinatilan, Vintar, Colonia, Concepcion, Kahaponan, Lourdes, Maapag, Mailag, Mt. Nebo, Nabag-o, San Isidro, Sinabuagan, and Tugaya in preparation for the upcoming Barangay Drug Clearing Retention Program.

The activity aimed to evaluate the compliance and sustainability of anti-drug initiatives implemented by the barangays and to ensure their readiness for the upcoming retention assessment under the Barangay Drug Clearing Program.

In line with the strengthened campaign against illegal drugs spearheaded by City Mayor Hon. Amie G. Galario and City Vice Mayor Hon. Greizl Galario-Fernandez, the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) Coordinator, Mr. Giovanni C. Asis, attended a meeting with the City Local Government Operations Officer Mr. Jan Eric L. Manasan, MGA, of Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Barangay Secretaries of the 31 barangays of Valencia City, Bukidnon.

The meeting was held at the Youth Hub, City Gymnasium and Cultural Center, Poblacion, Valencia City, Bukidnon.

During the meeting, Mr. Asis discussed and emphasized the importance of the Barangay Drug Clearing and Retention Program and the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) for plea bargain cases under Republic Act No. 9165.

This activity aimed to strengthen the implementation of anti-illegal drug programs at the barangay level and enhance coordination among stakeholders in promoting drug-free communities.

In line with the strengthened campaign against illegal drugs spearheaded by City Mayor Hon. Amie G. Galario and City Vice Mayor Hon. Greizl Galario-Fernandez, the AIDSAD Team, headed by Mr. Giovanni C. Asis, in collaboration with the City Health Office (CHO), represented by Ms. Dawn Dee N. Dumaquita, RN, assisted a voluntary surrendered Person Who Uses Drugs (PWUD) by conducting Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), facilitating client profiling, and providing appropriate assistance as part of the rehabilitation referral process.

In line with the strengthened anti-illegal drug initiatives of City Mayor Hon. Amie G. Galario and City Vice Mayor Hon. Greizl Galario-Fernandez, the Anti-Illegal Drugs and Substance Abuse Division (AIDSAD), through the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) Coordinator, Mr. Giovanni C. Asis, attended the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) Meeting held at Barangay Bagontaas, Valencia City, Bukidnon.

The meeting was presided over by Punong Barangay Alex L. Madarang. The discussion focused on the implementation of the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP), including updates, concerns, and ways to strengthen rehabilitation efforts in the barangay.

The activity highlights the continued partnership between the City Government and Barangay Bagontaas in promoting a safer and a healthier community.

In line with the strengthened anti-illegal drug initiatives of City Mayor Hon. Amie G. Galario and City Vice Mayor Hon. Greizl Galario-Fernandez, the Anti-Illegal Drugs and Substance Abuse Division (AIDSAD), headed by Mr. Giovanni C. Asis, in partnership with the City Health Office (CHO), represented by Ms. Dawn Dee N. Dumaquita, RN, and the DOH Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DOH-TRC), represented by Mr. Charles Ethon Magbujos and his team, conducted drug testing, orientation, and enrollment of CBDRP completers into the Continuing Care Program.

Moreover, the DOH-TRC conducted its first counseling session with one of the clients. The activity aimed to monitor the participants' condition, assess their recovery progress, and provide continuous support to help prevent relapse. Through the Continuing Care Program, participants are guided toward sustained recovery, improved well-being, and positive reintegration into the community.
