STRENGTHENING DISASTER READINESS, BUILDING A RESILIENT VALENZUELA

The activity brought together concerned city offices and partner agencies to assess potential risks, strengthen preparedness measures, and ensure coordinated response actions in anticipation of possible impacts of the Southwest Monsoon.

Through continuous coordination and collaboration among concerned agencies, Valenzuela City remains committed to building a safer, more prepared, and more resilient community.

INTERFACING SESSION WITH THE DILG UNDERSECRETARY FOR PUBLIC SAFETY

JED PATRICK E. MABILOG, Undersecretary for Public Safety of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), held at the SM North EDSA SkyDome, Quezon City.

The session brought together Fire Marshals, Chiefs of Fire Safety Enforcement Branches/Sections, and designated Fire Safety Inspectors from across the National Capital Region for a direct exchange with the Undersecretary for Public Safety. It served as a venue to discuss matters relevant to fire safety enforcement and public safety, provide guidance to personnel directly involved in inspection and enforcement functions, and address concerns encountered in the performance of their respective duties.

For the Valenzuela City Fire Station, participation in the activity further strengthened the alignment of its Fire Safety Inspectors with current directives and expectations in the implementation of fire safety laws, rules, and regulations. It likewise reinforced the importance of professionalism, accountability, consistency, and responsive public service in carrying out fire safety inspection and enforcement duties throughout the city.

The bread loaves were distributed to our personnel as a simple gesture of support and appreciation for their continued service.
