Taos-pusong pasasalamat ang ipinapaabot ng Valenzuela City Parole and Probation Office sa Philippine Red Cross Valenzuela City Chapter sa pagkilala sa aming tanggapan bilang katuwang sa pagsusulong ng boluntaryong pagdo-donate ng dugo at pagliligtas ng buhay. Ang nasabing parangal ay tinanggap ni Chief Ruperto A. Nicolas noong Agosto 5, 2026.

Ang parangal na ito ay patunay ng aming patuloy na suporta sa mga programang makatao at pangkomunidad. Higit sa lahat, kinikilala rin namin ang aming mga probationers at parolees na walang sawang nakikibahagi sa blood donation drives at hinihikayat ang kanilang mga pamilya at kaibigan na maging mga "buhay na bayani" ng ating panahon.

Sa bawat patak ng dugong naibabahagi, isang panibagong pag-asa at buhay ang naipagkakaloob.

Maraming salamat, Philippine Red Cross – Valenzuela City Chapter, sa pagkilalang ito. Sama-sama nating ipagpatuloy ang paglilingkod na may malasakit at pagkakaisa. ❤️🩸

Advancing restorative justice and creating meaningful pathways for PDLs to reintegrate into society 🇵🇭

Marking five decades of community-based corrections, the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA) secured strong support from top government leaders for the passage of the PPA Modernization Act as it celebrated its Golden Founding Anniversary and the 32nd Probation and Parole Week.

Supported by key measures introduced in Congress—including House Bill No. 2343 introduced by House Committee on Justice Chairperson Rep. Gerville Reyes-Luistro—the pending PPA Modernization Act seeks to reform the agency’s institutional framework under the Department of Justice - Philippines.

PRESS RELEASE | PPA marks Golden Anniversary of delivering real justice for all

The Parole and Probation Administration (PPA) celebrated its 50th Founding Anniversary and the 32nd Probation and Parole Week on 24 July 2026, commemorating five decades of restorative justice, rehabilitation, and community reintegration.

Under the theme “PPA @ 50: Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present, and Shaping the Future towards Redeeming Lives and Restoring Relationships,” the milestone highlighted the agency’s achievements over the past 50 years and reaffirmed its strategic direction toward a more modern, responsive parole and probation system.

As part of the week-long celebration, the PPA conducted various activities to mark the occasion and promote its programs and partnerships.

On 24 July, the PPA organized the 1st PPA-National Capital Region (NCR) Criminal Justice Stakeholders’ Conference, which brought together criminal justice stakeholders to strengthen inter-agency collaboration.

Meanwhile, a Golden Fun Run for a Cause 2026 was held on 26 July in Bacolod City to support community outreach and social development initiatives.

The PPA vows to remain committed to its mandate as a devoted partner of the Department of Justice (DOJ) in providing efficient, timely, and compassionate justice by giving qualified offenders the opportunity for rehabilitation, renewed purpose, and safe reintegration into society.
