Earlier today at 6:00 AM, a successful Tree Growing and Clean-Up Drive was conducted along Jumbo Bridge and Agusan River in celebration of World Water Day. 🌱💧

This meaningful activity was spearheaded by CENRO Loreto and MENRO Veruela, with the active participation of the PNP, BFP, BLGU Poblacion, BPATs, dedicated volunteers, and members of the community.

Together, we joined hands in protecting our environment, promoting cleanliness, and preserving our vital water resources for future generations. Thank you to everyone who took part in making this initiative a success!

🌳💚 TREE GROWING ACTIVITY 2026 | Tree Hugging Day Celebration 💚🌳

Earlier today around 7:00 @ La Fortuna National High School, La Fortuna, Veruela Agusan del Sur.

In celebration of Tree Hugging Day this February, a Tree Growing Activity was conducted through the initiative of La Fortuna National High School, headed by Sir Nilo C. Zolina, School Head, with Ma’am Ian Teresa E. Millan, YES-O Coordinator, School Teaching staff and Senior High School Graduating Students.

The activity was carried out in collaboration with MENRO Veruela, CENRO - Loreto, BLGU La Fortuna, CSOs, and partner stakeholders, pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 067, s. 2026 of Agusan del Sur.

The 10-Year Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) Plan C.Y. 2026-2035 of LGU Veruela, Agusan del Sur, has successfully passed the deliberation and is now recommended for approval by the NSWMC En Banc Conference! ♻️🌍

We proudly share that LGU Veruela was the last LGU to deliberate today, and the deliberation was officially completed at 5:16 PM. We are grateful for the positive outcome.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this milestone.
