Mass Blood Donation Activity

The Barangay Government of Sinobong, Veruela, Agusan del Sur successfully conducted a Mass Blood Donation Activity in partnership with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Veruela, headed by Dr. Gemma Lou Y. Otacan, MD, MPH, with the invaluable assistance of the Philippine Red Cross Volunteers.
The Barangay successfully achieved and exceeded its target, registering 52 qualified blood donors, which corresponds to an impressive 130% accomplishment rate. This outstanding result reflects the strong commitment, generosity, and cooperation of the residents and stakeholders of Barangay Sinobong in supporting humanitarian and health-related initiatives.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Officials of Barangay Sinobong, headed by Hon. Dahlia Z. Jumamil, for their generous financial support and invaluable assistance. Their commitment to promoting health and community welfare greatly contributed to the success of the activity.
Our sincere appreciation is also extended to the Barangay Health Workers, under the leadership of our Barangay Nurse, Mrs. Kristaleen Shalom B. Brigole, RN, for their tireless efforts in organizing participants, assisting during the activity, and ensuring the health and safety of all blood donors.
Likewise, we express our deepest thanks to the Barangay Peace and Action Team (BPAT) for their full support in the preparation, crowd management, and maintenance of peace and order throughout the event. Their dedication helped ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the activity.
