The PM₁₀ level remains within the FAIR (51–100) category, meaning air quality is generally acceptable, but sensitive individuals are advised to consider reducing prolonged outdoor activities.

📌𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: PM₂.₅ reading is temporarily unavailable due to equipment calibration and preventive maintenance.

As of 8:00 PM today, 30 August 2026, Tropical Depression “PILANDOK” (LPA 08J) is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, three other low-pressure areas (LPAs) are being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR. LPA 08l has a HIGH chance of developing into a Tropical Depression (TD) within the next 24 hours. LPA 08k (formerly SUADEL/OBET) has a MEDIUM chance of redeveloping into a TD within the next 24 hours, while LPA 08m has a LOW chance of developing into a TD within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

𝟏𝟎/𝟏𝟎 - 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝!

From learners to ICS-ready responders, 10 out of 10 representatives from members of the Veruela Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and personnel from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office sucessfully completed the Basic Incident Command System (BICS) Training Course held on August 25-27, 2026 at Butuan Southville Hotel and Convention Center, Butuan City, namely:

BICS is the first level course of the ladderized Incident Command System Training Program of the Office of Civil Defense wherein participants learn the basic concepts of ICS.

As of 8:00 AM today, 25 August 2026, Typhoon "SAUDEL" (formerly "OBET") is being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Also, Tropical Depression "ATSANI" (formerly LPA 08h) is also being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

Meanwhile, LPA 08f (formerly NENENG/GAENARI) has already dissipated.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

As of 8:00 AM today, 23 August 2026, the Tropical Depression with international name "GAENARI" (formerly "NENENG") is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

Meanwhile, the Tropical Depression (formerly LPA 08h) is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

The Typhoon with international name "SAUDEL" is also being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

As of 2:00 PM today, 22 August 2026, LPA 08f (formerly "NENENG") has re-developed into a Tropical Depressioin, is being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and was named "GAERANI".

Meanwhile, the Tropical Depression (formerly LPA 08h) is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

The Typhoon with international name "SAUDEL" is also being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

Meanwhile, LPA 08h is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR and now has a HIGH chance of developing into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

Severe Tropical Storm, with international name "SAUDEL" has intensified into a Typhoon and is also being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.
