The Kadasig Awards is the province’s annual evaluation and recognition program honoring exemplary youth development offices and officers, SK federations and councils, youth organizations, and youth programs that turn ideas into meaningful action and create lasting impact for young people.

This year, we once again celebrate kadasig—the energy, initiative, and commitment that keep youth development moving forward.

Day 3 continued with another meaningful learning experience for our young participants.

BASIC FIRE SUPPRESSION AWARENESS

The session equipped the participants with important knowledge and awareness on fire safety, prevention, and basic fire suppression.

After the session, the participants proceeded to an exciting Amazing Race featuring 10 different stations, challenging them to work together, think creatively, and demonstrate teamwork, coordination, and camaraderie.

The first night of the “Pagkaurusa” Kabataan Caravan 2026 came alive with creativity, confidence, and talent through the Impromptu Mr. & Ms. KabCar & Ikatlong Lahi 2026!

With only basic materials provided, our participants showcased their resourcefulness and creativity by creating their own costumes and presenting their talents on the spot.

It was truly a night of fun, self-expression, inclusivity, and youth empowerment—proving that when the youth are given the opportunity, their creativity knows no limits!

The “Pagkaurusa” Kabataan Caravan officially kicked off its first day at Maxvilla National High School, bringing together young people, local leaders, and community partners for a meaningful day of learning, engagement, and youth empowerment.

A highlight of the opening activity was the discussion led by Hon. Rona Cajontoy, who emphasized the importance of Ordiformatica: “An Ordinance Affecting the Youth”—helping young people better understand policies, programs, and ordinances that directly affect them.

The Pagkaurusa Kabataan Caravan aims to bring the youth together, strengthen their participation, and create meaningful conversations that contribute to a stronger and more united community.
