Barangay XVI successfully celebrated Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 on August 31, 2026, bringing together the youth for a day of games, laughter, and friendly competition.

The celebration featured various activities that encouraged participation, teamwork, and camaraderie among the young people of the barangay. More than just a day of fun, the event provided an opportunity for the youth to come together, connect with one another.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay XVI extends its appreciation to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of the celebration.

The month of August is the month of the youth. This year 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Victorias City, together with the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), invites the Victoriasanon youth to take part in this year’s celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

A series of activities has been lined up throughout August, bringing together sports, community service, environmental action, traditional Filipino games, and the arts—providing young Victoriasanons with opportunities to participate, connect, and showcase their talents and skills.

In celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) of Victorias City invite all talented and aspiring Victoriasanon youth, 13 to 30 years old, to showcase their skills in this year’s premier literary and performing arts competitions.

More than a competition, this is a platform to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, artistic excellence, and cultural appreciation while empowering young Victoriasanons to express their talents, share their stories, and inspire the community through literature, music, speech, and dance.
