The Victorias City Youth Forum on Heritage proudly clinched second place in the Gawad Kabataan Para sa Pamana (Youth Forum on Heritage Award) for the 3rd District of Negros Occidental at Natures Village Resort in Talisay City, July 28.

The attendees were Victorias City councilors, Hon. Dino Acuรฑa, Hon. Derek Palanca, Dr. Lito Diaz, Chief of Staff to the Mayor, and the members of the YFH-Victorias City headed by the SK Federation President Hon. Trisha Majan, joined by the members, Hon. Brylin Dorias, Hon. Radi Raze Garaygay, Hon. Jericho De la Cruz, Hon. Sophia Nizol, and Hon. Jhienen Besaรฑes, all of whom lent their support and encouragement to the forum.

The Gawad Kabataan Para sa Pamana is an annual event recognizing youth groups from the 3rd District that have made significant contributions to cultural heritage preservation.

The Victorias City Youth Forum on Heritage impressed the adjudicators with their innovative project "TALAMWAAN" showcasing diverse stories of victory in the City.

This achievement not only brings honor to Victorias City but also inspires other youth organizations to actively engage in heritage conservation. The forum's success highlights the important role of young people in preserving the cultural legacy of their communities for future generations.
