The Bureua of Jail Management and Penology - Victorias City Jail under the leadership of JCINSP MA LORELIE F DIMACULANGAN, City Jail Warden, actively participated in the Preparatory Meeting for the 13th Kalamayan Festival and 29th Kadalag-an Festival of Victorias City held on September 2, 2026.

The meeting was presided over by ATTY. MEDDIE S. ARBOLADO JR., the meeting brought together representatives from various government offices, agencies, and stakeholders involved in the planning and implementation of the city's major festivities.

The active participation of VCJ demonstrates its continued commitment to supporting the Local Government Unit of Victorias City and partner agencies while ensuring the continuous and effective delivery of its mandate on the secure, safe, and humane management of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

JCINSP MA LORELIE F DIMACULANGAN, City Jail Warden of BJMP Victorias City Jail, personally conducted a Livelihood Skills Training on Fuzzy Wire Flower and Accessories Making for the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

Through this initiative, JCINSP Dimaculangan generously shared her own talent and skills with the PDL, providing them with an opportunity to learn a practical and creative livelihood skill. Beyond developing their talents, the training aims to equip the PDL with skills they can use to create income-generating products, helping them support themselves and their families while preparing for a productive life beyond confinement.

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) – Victorias City Jail, under the leadership of JCINSP MA LORELIE F DIMACULANGAN, City Jail Warden, actively participated in the Caravan in observance of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week (NCPW) on September 1, 2026, carrying the theme:

β€œStrengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Safer Communities.”

The caravan brought together various crime prevention stakeholders, government agencies, law enforcement front-liners, and partner organizations, united in promoting crime prevention, public safety, peace and order, and community involvement.
Traversing the designated route within the Poblacion of Victorias City, the activity served as a meaningful platform to strengthen inter-agency coordination and highlight the importance of collective responsibility and civilian participation in building safer and more secure communities.

The active participation of Victorias City Jail personnel reflects the Bureau’s continued commitment to supporting initiatives that promote crime prevention, public safety, community partnership, and responsive public service.

On September 1, 2026, during the Traditional Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Public Plaza, Victorias City, JCINSP MA LORELIE F DIMACULANGAN, City Jail Warden of Victorias City Jail, formally received a Resolution of Welcome from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Victorias City in recognition of her designation as the newly assigned Jail Warden of Victorias City Jail.

The gesture reflects the City Government’s warm welcome, support, and commitment to fostering a strong partnership with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in advancing effective jail management, public safety, rehabilitation, and the welfare of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
