Day 1 | Bongloy Festival Workshop
The first day of the Bongloy Festival Workshop has officially come to a close, bringing together our participating barangays, cultural workers, and barangay representatives in a shared commitment to preserving and strengthening the identity of the Bongloy Festival.
Today's sessions focused on understanding Villanueva's history, culture, and creative direction, laying a strong foundation as we prepare for performances that truly reflect the story and heritage of Villanueva.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Hon. Atty. Julio T. Uy for his unwavering support in promoting our local culture and empowering initiatives that preserve our traditions. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Vice Mayor Jeric G. Emano for his continued encouragement and commitment to programs that celebrate our community's rich cultural heritage.
Thank you as well to our resource speakers, Mr Basilidas "Jun" Pilapil and Mr Roger Odron; organisers; facilitators; and all participants for making the first day productive and inspiring.
