Today, we visited the area of Purok 1, Zone 1 together with me BHW Relin Gunlay, Rodisa Sacabin-Mojar & Meriam Crisostomo Aviola that was previously reported because of the unpleasant smell. And honestly, it was sad 🥹 to see that the problem is not only animal waste, but also human waste and scattered garbage.

If you are living in the area, especially with children, imagine having to endure that smell every day. For me personally, lisod gyud kaayo antuson. Mao pud siguro nga nakaabot na gyud sa point nga ni-reklamo ang silingan.

This is not about blaming anyone. It’s simply a reminder that cleanliness starts at home and in our own surroundings. Let’s be more responsible with our waste, keep our surroundings clean, and be mindful of the people living around us.

A clean environment is not only for our comfort it is for everyone’s health and well-being.

📚 Learning never stops, especially when it is for better public service!

Grateful to have been given the opportunity to represent Barangay Katipunan and participate in the 4th Regional Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics held last August 18–20, 2026, at Chali Beach Resort and Conference Center, Cagayan de Oro City.

It was truly a meaningful and informative experience, filled with valuable learnings, updates, and discussions that can help us become more knowledgeable and effective in serving our community.

And syempre, dili pud mawala ang pinaka-exciting nga part! 😅 During the Question and Answer portion, nakatubag ta ug sakto ug bonus pa gyud, nakadawat tag prize! 😂🎉 Unexpected but definitely a memorable moment!

Daghang salamat sa Barangay Katipunan for the trust and opportunity to represent our barangay. Proud and grateful to continue learning, gaining new experiences, and bringing these learnings back to our community. ❤️

Feeling grateful and truly honored to have been invited to be one of the judges for the Junk to Funk 2026 competition of Poblacion 3 as part of their LNK 2026 celebration. ♻️✨

It was such a privilege to witness the creativity, talent, and hard work of the different participants. Seeing how they transformed ordinary and recycled materials into something artistic and meaningful was truly impressive. 👏🏻💚

My heartfelt thanks to SK Chairperson Hon. Loyd Zamayla and to the entire SK Council of Poblacion 3 for the trust and opportunity to be part of this wonderful activity. Daghang salamat sa inyong warm welcome and for giving me the privilege to share my time and experience as one of your judges.

My appreciation as well to your Punong Barangay, Hon. Jean Lood, for the warm hospitality and support. 🤍

A successful and meaningful Mother Class for Pregnant Women was conducted yesterday August 7, 2026 from 8am-12noon in Barangay Katipunan, providing our expectant mothers with valuable knowledge and guidance on proper maternal care, dental health, laboratory services, and the importance of the First 1,000 Days of Life.

This activity is more than just a learning session—it is an investment in the health and well-being of both mothers and their babies. Through proper information, education, and access to essential health services, we continue to empower our mothers to make informed choices for a safer pregnancy and a healthier family. 🌸👶

Another milestone unlocked for Barangay Katipunan! 💚

Karong adlawa August 5, 2026, mapasalamaton ug malipayon kita nga ang Barangay Katipunan usa sa mga barangay sa Municipality of Villanueva nga opisyal nga nakadawat sa Level 1 Accreditation as an Adolescent-Friendly Health Facility (AFHF).

This achievement is a testament to our commitment in providing a safe, accessible, and youth-friendly health services for every adolescent in our community. Dili kini kalampusan sa usa ka tawo lamang, kundili bunga sa paningkamot, dedikasyon, ug maayong panaghiusa sa tanan.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Katipunan Council, headed by Punong Barangay Julio F. Cabato Jr., for the unwavering leadership, trust, and continuous support towards our health programs.

Daghang salamat usab sa atong dedicated Health Team—Ma'am Beverly Tagam (Midwife) ug Sir Zimsjone Endocal, RN—sa inyong walay kapoy nga pag-atiman ug paghatag og quality health services sa atong katawhan, ilabi na sa atong mga kabatan-onan.
