Tara, Basa! Sama-sama nating isulong ang pagbasa.

Our Extension Services Director and Program Focal Person, Jowi B. Resayaga, recently conducted again an on-site monitoring of the DSWD Tara Basa Tutoring Program implementation at:
✅ Gogon Elementary School
✅ Virac Pilot Elementary School

The activity assessed the program's delivery, tutor-learner engagement, and reading progress — ensuring that every session brings learners closer to becoming confident readers.

Through Tara Basa, we are not just teaching kids to read — we are building a community of hope, one story at a time.

Monitoring the heart of literacy: DSWD Tara Basa Tutoring Program

Our Extension Services Director and Program Focal Person, Jowi B. Resayaga, recently conducted an on-site monitoring of the DSWD Tara Basa Tutoring Program implementation across four partner schools:
✅ San Vicente ES
✅ Capilihan ES
✅ Taytay ES
✅ JMAMES

The activity ensured that the program’s goals — improving reading proficiency among young learners and providing meaningful engagement to student tutors — are being met with quality, compassion, and community spirit.

We extend our gratitude to the school heads, teachers, parent volunteers, and especially the dedicated tutors and YDWs for their commitment to making every child a reader.

Together, we build a culture of reading and bayanihan.
