10th PA-Wide Simultaneous Blood Donation Activity

The 503rd Community Defense Center (503CDC) together with the 503rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (503RRIBn) in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross–Catanduanes Chapter, Provincial Health Office (PHO) Catanduanes, Eastern Bicol Medical Center (EBMC), Department of Health (DOH), Municipal Government of Virac, and other participating agencies and organizations, successfully conducted the 10th PA-Wide Simultaneous Blood Donation Activity on August 15 2026 at Plaza Rizal Covered Court, Virac, Catanduanes.

The 503CDC extends its heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all partner agencies, organizations, blood donors, volunteers, and individuals who generously extended their time, resources, and support to make this humanitarian activity a success.

The blood collected will serve as a valuable resource for patients and individuals in need of blood transfusion and will greatly contribute to saving lives in the Province of Catanduanes.

In celebration of the 43rd Founding Anniversary of the Reserve Command Philippine Army (RCPA), the 503rd Community Defense Center (503rd CDC) and the 503rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (503RRIBn) will conduct a Simultaneous Blood Donation Activity on August 15, 2026, at the Plaza Rizal Covered Court, Virac, Catanduanes.

This life-saving initiative aims to help strengthen the province's blood supply and provide vital support to our reservists and the people of Catanduanes. Through this noble endeavor, we continue to uphold the true spirit of service, volunteerism, and compassion.

Look!!!

Personnel from the 503rd Community Defense Center (503CDC) and 503rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (503RRIBn), led by 2LT RHOEL SARMIENTO PA (Res) and 2LT LAURENCIO A. OGERIO PA (Res), together with personnel from the 83rd Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, and other volunteer individuals and organizations, proceeded to Salvacion Elementary School, Brgy. Salvacion, Caramoran, Catanduanes, to provide manpower assistance to All Hands and Hearts, a non-government organization (NGO), in the construction of a classroom for the students of the said school.

This collaborative effort reflects the commitment of the Philippine Army, partner organizations, and volunteers to support education and community development through bayanihan. By working together, we help create a safer and more conducive learning environment for the children, demonstrating that unity and shared responsibility can make a lasting difference in the lives of future generations.

LOOK | ROTC Graduation Ceremony and Turnover of Command Successfully Conducted

The Catanduanes State University (CatSU) ROTC Unit and Christian Polytechnic Institute of Catanduanes, Inc. (CPIC) ROTC Unit successfully conducted their respective Graduation Ceremonies and Turnover of Command, marking another significant milestone in the development of future reserve leaders.

On 26 May 2026, the CatSU ROTC Unit held its Graduation Ceremony and Turnover of Command at the CatSU Gymnasium, Brgy. Calatagan, Virac, Catanduanes. The event was graced by Mr. Jose F. Tabligan, former ROTC Coordinator of CatSU ROTC Unit, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker (GOHAS), together with Ms. Gemma G Acedo, SUC President of Catanduanes State University.

Meanwhile, on 30 May 2026, the CPIC ROTC Unit conducted its Graduation Ceremony and Turnover of Command at the Plaza Rizal Covered Court, Brgy. San Pablo, Virac, Catanduanes. The activity was honored by the presence of MAJ DARIO T. GREGORIO PA (RES) as the Guest of Honor and Speaker (GOHAS) and Ms. Nathalie T. Molina, NSTP Director of Christian Polytechnic Institute of Catanduanes, Inc.

The ceremonies highlighted the successful completion of ROTC training by the graduating cadets and the formal turnover of leadership responsibilities within the ROTC Units. The events also recognized the dedication and contributions of the outgoing cadet officers while welcoming the newly designated cadet leaders who will continue to uphold the values of leadership, discipline, patriotism, and service.

Congratulations to all graduating cadets and newly appointed cadet officers. Continue to serve with honor, commitment, and excellence as future leaders and reservists of the nation. 🇵🇭💪🏻
