Today (July 24, 2026), the Catanduanes Municipal Treasurers League, Inc. (CMTLI) successfully conducted its Regular Monthly Meeting at ARDCI Hotel, Virac, Catanduanes, bringing together Municipal Treasurers from across the province to discuss programs and initiatives that will further strengthen local treasury operations.
We were honored to welcome our guests from the Bureau of the Treasury โ Catanduanes, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ and ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐, who shared the latest updates on Bureau of the Treasury issuances, including recent policies affecting local treasury operations and government collections. Their insights are invaluable in keeping our members informed and compliant with current national directives.
A highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฌ. ๐๐๐ณ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐. ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐, ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ฎ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฒ, recognizing the Catanduanes Municipal Treasurers League, Inc. for its steadfast support and partnership in advancing the Bureau's mandate. This recognition inspires us to continue fostering stronger collaboration with our partner agencies.
The League also deliberated on several important agenda, including the rollout of our upcoming capability-building programs and training initiatives for Municipal Treasurers and Treasury personnel. These include the development of the ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ and other professional development activities aimed at enhancing the competencies of local treasury professionals throughout the province.
