On February 24, 2026, our technical team successfully completed the installation of a high-gain antenna system and a dedicated wireless bridge to extend seamless connectivity from the Capitol Main Building to the Governor’s Mansion. This project involved the precise setup of an outdoor access point to ensure a stable, high-speed network link between these two key administrative hubs. Leveraging the strategic elevation of the Main Building, this infrastructure upgrade provides the mansion with an advantage of low-latency communication while preserving the aesthetic integrity of the grounds by avoiding extensive physical cabling.

On February 20, 2026, our team conducted comprehensive preventive maintenance and technical inspections of the outdoor wireless antennas at Sto. Niño, joined by our OJT participants for field training. The operation focused on structural integrity assessments, precise antenna alignment, and signal performance validation to ensure the continued reliability of our communication links. Integrating hands-on mentorship with rigorous technical standards remains a priority as we optimize our solar-powered infrastructure for peak operational efficiency.

On February 10, 2026, EOC Command Center personnel Anthony Robles and Andrey I. M. Taller, in coordination with PCG and DRG teams, conducted a comprehensive search operation in Sitio Bitaogan Bato, Catanduanes, for a fisherman carried away by shearline-induced floods in San Miguel.

The effort employed advanced drone technology with thermal imaging for thorough area coverage. Through this inter-agency collaboration, we uphold our commitment to effective disaster response and public safety.

Today, our IT Department met with the PDRRMO and the Philippine National Police (PNP) to finalize technical and security preparations for the upcoming Ambassadorial visit.

The discussion centered on the full activation of our Command Center, ensuring seamless monitoring and rapid response capabilities. Through this inter-agency collaboration, we remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency for this high-level event.
