Please be informed that we will have the VALIDATION for the cash incentive payout starting Tomorrow August 18, 2026.

what to bring: if personal mag claim, just bring your PWD ID (original and xerox)

In case for those authorized representative, they must be from immediate family and bring the following:

1. PWD ID (original and xerox)
2. Claimnant's ID (original and xerox)
3. Authorization letter hand written
4. Picture holding August 2026 Calendar together with the claimnant.
5. Proof of relationship (ex. Birth certificate)

For those who have name/ID number corrections and other questions, please look for Kag. Nancy Mendoza and/or the PWD officers, Ms. Korinne and Ms. Grace.

Due to the alarming increase of dengue cases in the city, the Malagutay Barangay Coucil headed by Kap Allan De Guzman, Malagutay Health Center is calling all purok leaders, volunteers, sectoral groups and concerned constituents to join us for a meeting tomorrow August 13, 2026 at 1:00 pm, Malagutay barangay hall.

CITY GOV’T ADOPTS 730AM TO 430PM WORK SCHED ON MONDAYS| Effective Monday, August 10, 2026, city government operations will run from 730am to 430pm every Monday.

Tuesday to Friday will still be regular work hours from 8am to 5pm for all city government offices.

Nonetheless, city offices providing essential and frontline services, specifically the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and/ or the performance of other vital services, shall continue their regular operations and work hours Monday to Friday.

In a memorandum order issued August 3, 2026, Mayor Khymer Olaso said the revision of the Monday work schedule is “in the interest of promoting operational efficiency, maximizing the effective utilization of official working hours, and aligning the Monday work schedule with the conduct of the weekly flag raising ceremony.”

The chief executive added that the revised schedule is consistent with the provisions of Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 06, series 2022, as amended by CSC MC No. 01, series 2025, which authorize government agencies to adopt flexible work arrangements, provided that officials and employees render the required forty-hour workweek and that continuous public service is maintained from 8am to 5pm. Due to the continuous increase of dengue cases, Zamboanga city declares dengue epidemic last Tuesday August 4,2026. They recorded 1,241 dengue cases and 12 deaths. With this alarming cases, Mayor Khymer Olaso encouraged all 98 barangays to conduct a clean-up drive plans to stop the spread of dengue in the community.

In response, the Barangay Council of Malagutay headed by Kap Allan S. De Guzman will spearhead a "Kalinisan Kontra Dengue", a continuous clean-up drive project to all Puroks in Malagutay.

We are inviting all groups/sectors, organizations and private individuals to join us in the clean-up drive to combat against Dengue.

The clean up drive will start at Purok 1 (Calle Lourdes and Calle Nazareno) - August 10, 2026 (Monday). Schedules for other puroks will be announce later on.

Enhorabuena!!!

The Barangay Council of Malagutay headed by Kap Allan S. De Guzman expresses their outmost gratitude to the Office of the President, our honorable President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the Socio-Civic Project Fund (OP-SCPF) worth Php 200,000.00.

This will not be possible without the effort and assistance of our Liga ng mga Barangay President, honorable Kap Jordan Evangelista.

The fund is intended for the 5 graduating student Scholars who just received Php 20,000.00 each.
The remaining Php 100,000.00 is intended for our Barangay Project, the purchase of Monoblock chairs and Tents.
