On this day, we honor the life, courage, and sacrifice of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose unwavering commitment to democracy and freedom inspired a nation.

Established through Republic Act No. 9256, every August 21 serves as a reminder of the values he stood for justice, truth, and the power of the Filipino people.

May his legacy continue to inspire us to protect our democratic institutions and work toward a better future for all. Let us remember, reflect, and remain committed to the ideals of freedom and national unity.

Nakikiisa ang ZSCMST Learning Resource Center sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 na may temang: “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya, mahalagang mapanatili at mapagyaman ang ating wikang pambansa bilang daluyan ng kaalaman, komunikasyon, at pambansang pagkakakilanlan. Nawa'y magsilbing katuwang ang Artificial Intelligence sa pagpapalawak ng pananaliksik at pag-access sa impormasyon habang patuloy nating pinahahalagahan ang Wikang Filipino.

Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang wikang nagbubuklod sa ating mga Pilipino at nagsisilbing tulay tungo sa mas maliwanag at makabuluhang kinabukasan.

Para sa karagdagang sanggunian at babasahin tungkol sa kulturang Pilipino, panitikan, at kasaysayan, bisitahin ang aming Seksyong Filipiniana sa Learning Resource Center.

The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) will conduct a General Orientation 2026 – Welcome Program for all incoming students on August 3, 2026, 7:45 AM at ZSCMST Open Grounds/Open Field.

With its theme, “ANDA YA: El Gran Viaje del Estudiante” and “GO NOW: The Great Student Journey,” the activity aims to formally welcome new students and provide essential information on the College’s academic policies.

The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) will conduct a General Orientation 2026 – Welcome Program for all incoming students on August 3, 2026, 7:45 AM at ZSCMST Open Grounds/Open Field.

• Kindly present your Certificate of Registration (COR) during your scheduled appointment for verification purposes.
