905𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝘿𝘾 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝘿𝙊𝙇𝙀 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙏𝙐𝙋𝘼𝘿 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

The 905th Community Defense Center played a vital role in facilitating the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program Orientation conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment headed by Mr. Albert E. Gutib, Regional Director, DOLE Region 9 to the reservists of the 2303rd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade (RRIBde) and 9051st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn) at Headquarters, 905th CDC, Camp Arturo T Enrile, Malagutay, Zamboanga City on September 13, 2026.

The activity aimed to provide the reservists with essential information on the TUPAD Program, particularly its objectives, eligibility requirements, benefits, and procedures for participation.

The TUPAD Program Orientation served as an avenue for the reservists to better understand the government's efforts to provide them a temporary employment assistance through the TUPAD Program.

Through this initiative, the 905th CDC demonstrate its commitment to strengthening government partnerships and promoting the welfare and development of its reservists.

As part of its continuing efforts to maintain operational readiness, accountability, and preparedness among its reserve forces, the 905th Community Defense Center successfully conducted the mustering of its Standby Reserve personnel together with the Ready Reserve at Headquarters, 905th CDC, Camp Arturo T Enrile, Malagutay, Zamboanga City on September 13, 2026.

The activity brought together Standby Reserve personnel who are mostly ROTC graduates to verify their current status, update personnel records, and assess their availability for possible employment when circumstances require.

The mustering also provided an opportunity for the 905th CDC to reinforce the importance of maintaining readiness and ensuring that every reservist remains prepared to respond to the needs of the organization and the community and strengthening communication between the 905th CDC and its Standby Reserve personnel.

𝙍𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙁𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚: 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙁𝙪𝙣 𝙍𝙪𝙣 2026

As part of the pre-activities of 47th National Reservist Week (NRW) 2026, the 905th CDC under the leadership of Lt. Col. Husain A Esmael (INF) PA together with the Reservists from 9051st RRIBn, 2303rd RRIBde and BCMT Applicants for CY 2026 participated in a Fun Run Activity facilitated by the Office of the Assistant Chief of Unified Command Staff for Reservist and Retiree Affiars, U9, WMC, AFP with the theme: "Takbo Para sa West Philippine Sea" at WMC Gymanasium, Camp Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City on September 05, 2026.

The activity brought together reservists from Philippine Airforce and Philippine Navy and Marines, military personnel, stakeholders, and participants who shared a common commitment to fitness, service, and nation-building.

Adding excitement and enjoyment to the event was the recognition of outstanding and remarkable participants through a series of special awards:

These special awards made the activity more meaningful and inclusive, emphasizing that the Fun Run was not solely about competition but also about celebrating participation, perseverance, friendship, and the spirit of camaraderie among reservists and other participants.

As the celebration of National Reservist Week draws near, the Fun Run serves as a reminder that readiness, unity, and service are strengthened through discipline, fitness, camaraderie, and active participation.

𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

In solemn observance of the National Heroes Day, the 905th Community Defense Center participated in the
Flag raising and commemorative wreath-laying ceremonies conducted by the City Government of Zamboanga to honor the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of the Filipino heroes who dedicated their lives to the freedom and welfare of the nation at Plaza Rizal, Zamboanga City.

The activity brought together a diverse group of organizations, government agencies, uniformed personnel, reservists, veterans, civic groups, and other stakeholders, all united in paying tribute to the nation's heroes. Their collective participation reflected a shared commitment to honoring the sacrifices of the past while upholding the values of patriotism, service, and dedication to the Filipino people.

Let us honor the heroes of the past, serve the nation today, and inspire the generations of tomorrow.

𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝘾𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

The 905th Community Defense Center (CDC) together with the 583rd Aircarft Control and Wing Group, Philippine Airforce (ACWG, PAF) played a significant role by providing crucial manpower and transportation support in the successful distribution of educational books conducted by Zamboanga Central School on August 26, 2026.

Personnel from the 905th CDC and 583rd ACWG, PAF assisted in the handling, loading, transportation, and distribution of the books to Rio Hondo Elementary School, Sta. Barbara Central School, and Canelar Elementary School where they will be utilized as supplementary resources for teaching and learning activities.

Through the combined efforts of Zamboanga Central School, 905th CDC and 583rd ACWG PAF, it reflects their commitment to supporting initiatives that benefit learners by the additional learning resources that were made available to pupils and teachers in the recipient schools.

Their active participation helped ensure that the educational materials were organized and delivered efficiently to the intended schools.
