𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀.

Twenty-seven members of the Pulauan Alliance Labor Union (PALU) received a ₱1-million livelihood grant from DOLE to establish a community-managed retail enterprise that will generate income, improve access to essential goods, and strengthen economic resilience in their community.

The initiative forms part of the Trabaho Agad agenda of Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino and supports the Bagong Pilipinas vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Zamboanga Sibugay Field Office equipped 256 beneficiaries with essential knowledge and skills through a two-day social preparation activity under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), helping them effectively manage and sustain their livelihood enterprises.

The initiative supports the Trabaho Agad agenda of Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino and the Bagong Pilipinas vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹-𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office 9 awarded ₱755,400.00 in financial assistance under the Adjustment Measures Program (AMP) to NZ Meat Shop, a halal-certified microenterprise, during a ceremonial turnover held on July 30 at the DOLE Regional Office IX Conference Room.

The assistance will help the enterprise expand its production of halal-certified frozen and ready-to-cook food products, providing Muslim consumers with more halal-certified food choices while supporting business growth and sustaining employment.

The initiative forms part of the Trabaho Agad agenda of Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino and the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to strengthen employment and enterprise development.

𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.

Twenty (20) TUPAD beneficiaries from Liloy and Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte gained temporary employment while contributing to forest restoration through a Forest Nursery Project implemented by DOLE in partnership with DENR.

The initiative supports the Trabaho Agad agenda of Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino and the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to provide employment opportunities while promoting sustainable community development.

𝟮,𝟬𝟵𝟴 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘'𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗼 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲

A total of 2,098 informal sector workers in the Province of Basilan have been equipped with the knowledge and support they need as the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office IX–Isabela City Field Office conducted a series of TUPAD and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) orientations.

Beyond providing temporary employment, the activity also linked beneficiaries to essential government services through PhilHealth and the Social Security System (SSS), reinforcing the Department's commitment to promoting decent work, social protection, and worker welfare under the Trabaho Agad initiative.

In line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s commitment to empower Filipino workers through meaningful social dialogues and stronger partnerships among government agencies, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Francis N. Tolentino, National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) Secretary Lope B. Santos III, and NAPC-Formal Labor and Migrant Workers Sectoral Council (FLMWSC) Sectoral Representative Danilo A. Laserna signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at expanding programs and services for the formal labor and migrant workers sector on 29 July 2026.

𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝟵 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝟮𝟮𝟰 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀.

A total of 224 newly hired workers from Bigfish Food Manufacturing Corporation and AMR Fishing Corporation strengthened their knowledge of labor standards, occupational safety and health, workers' rights and responsibilities, and government programs through the Labor and Employment Education Seminar (LEES) conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office IX–Zamboanga City Field Office.

The seminar forms part of DOLE's continuing commitment to empower both workers and employers through labor and employment education, fostering voluntary compliance, productive workplaces, and harmonious labor-management relations.
