The Barangay Tetuan Health Workers and Tetuan Health Center Staff are presently conducting the Purok Kalusugan Session at St. Agustin Mormons.

This ongoing activity is part of the barangay’s continuing health initiative aimed at promoting wellness, preventive care, and community awareness. The program includes health education on hygiene and nutrition, basic medical check‑ups for residents, and consultations with health workers to address family health concerns. The Barangay Council commends the dedication of our health workers and the active participation of the community, as we collectively strive to build a healthier and stronger Barangay Tetuan.

DAY OF MOURNING AND SUSPENSION OF CLASSES ON AUGUST 19, 2026

August 18, 2026 was a very, very sad and tragic day for Zambamga City. Two young students died in the shooting incident that happened early this morning at the Ateneo de Zamboanga campus in Barangay Tumaga .

The City Government of Zamboanga mourns with profound sadness the tragic loss of two young lives.

We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families, loved ones, classmates, teachers, and the entire school community. Our hearts are with you in this time of unimaginable grief.

We appeal to everyone to remain calm and compassionate, refrain from spreading unverified information, and allow the proper authorities to conduct a thorough investigation. The City Government will continue to work closely with law enforcement and concerned agencies to ensure that the safety and well-being of our students and our community remain our highest priority.

Another proud achievement for the Tetuanos! Despite the busy schedule and numerous activities during the Lama‑Lama Festival last July, the Barangay Council remained committed to its responsibilities, particularly in the preparation and submission of Barangay Financial Documents and Reports.

Congratulations to the entire team, most especially to our Barangay Treasurer, Mr. Roger Araneta, for his leadership and dedication in ensuring that our financial obligations were accomplished on time and in proper form.

This accomplishment reflects the unwavering commitment of Barangay Tetuan to uphold accountability, transparency, and good governance, proving once again that our community continues to excel and set the standard.

Today, Doc. Kap. Richard Mariano, attended the ADZU–Tzu Chi Foundation Cultural Exchange Program held at Tetuan Central School.

This significant event brought together the Ateneo de Zamboanga University School of Medicine, the Tzu Chi Foundation, and 30 Taiwanese medical students in a vibrant exchange of culture, knowledge, and humanitarian values.

With the theme “Servicio con Amor” (Service with Love), the program emphasized compassion, unity, and service beyond borders inspiring future leaders in medicine and public service to embody love in action.

We also acknowledge the presence of Mr. B**g Simbajon from the Office of the City Mayor, whose support reflects the City Government’s commitment to fostering partnerships that strengthen cultural understanding and community development.

Barangay Tetuan proudly supports initiatives that promote education, cultural exchange, and humanitarian service. Truly, this program is a shining example of how compassion and collaboration can transcend boundaries and create lasting bonds of friendship and solidarity.

This is to inform the public that Mr. Sapri Arasain Attip, a driver from Yubenco, has turned over to the Tetuan Barangay Hall a bundle of medicine found inside a plastic bag. Based on the attached receipt, the said medicines belong to Senior Citizen Amil Asma Patrimonio.

If you personally know or are able to contact Mr./Ms. Patrimonio, kindly inform him/her to claim the medicines at the Tetuan Barangay Hall, 3rd Floor, between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

For verification, please bring a valid Identification Card upon claiming.
