Inclusion. Empowerment. Every Young Voice Matters! ♿️✨

Kabataan, let’s champion a future where every young person—regardless of ability—has the opportunity to participate, lead, and make a difference. Building inclusive communities starts with breaking barriers and creating spaces where everyone can contribute meaningfully.

Join us for the webinar “Inclusive Youth Leadership: Empowering Young Leaders to Champion Disability Inclusion” on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM via Zoom and Facebook Live.

This learning session aims to equip SK officials, SK Pederasyon, LYDC members, LYDOs and staff, youth organizations, student leaders, volunteers, and young people with the knowledge and practical strategies to advance disability inclusion in youth programs, governance, and community development. Together, let’s promote accessibility, equity, meaningful participation, and respect for the rights and dignity of young persons with disabilities.

Let’s lead inclusively. Let’s break barriers. Let’s leave no young person behind.

One of the highlights of this year's Mister and Miss Lama-Lama Festival was the community visit to Isla Verde, where the candidates had a firsthand experience in seed sowing and gained a deeper appreciation for environmental stewardship and sustainable agriculture.

Through the initiative of the Tetuan Barangay Council, Isla Verde was adopted as part of HAPAG, a program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) that promotes food security, environmental sustainability, and community participation.

The activity allowed the candidates to go beyond the pageant stage, demonstrating that true leadership is rooted in service, responsibility, and meaningful engagement with the community.
