Congratulations MGEN HERMINIGILDO FRANCISCO C AQUINO AFP Sir on your well-deserved promotion from the Officers, Enlisted Personnel & Civilian Employee of the 1st Army Training Group, TRADOC, PA!

Capas, Tarlac- The Commander of the Philippine Army’s Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Brig. Gen. Herminigildo Francisco C. Aquino earned his well-deserved promotion to Major General after President Rodrigo R. Duterte approved his promotion last December 29, 2016. A traditional arrival honor was accorded to Maj. Gen. Aquino with TRADOC Inspector General Col. Joselito Serrano, as the military host at 10: a.m., January 17, 2016.

Maj. Gen. Aquino was warmly welcomed by the officers, men and civilian employees of the Command led by the Chief of Staff Col. Ferdinand Lazaro D. Budeng; School Commandants; Directors; Sergeant Majors and other key NCOs in Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac. Moreover, a holy mass was offered in thanksgiving followed by a lunch at TRADOC Headquarters.

A donning ceremony for newly-promoted generals was held at Headquarters Philippine Army in Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila spearheaded by Commanding General Philippine Army Lt. Gen. Glorioso V. Miranda yesterday morning.

Maj. Gen. Aquino is the 44th Commander of TRADOC. Prior to his assumption as Commander of TRADOC, he was the Assistant Superintendent, Philippine Military Academy. TRADOC is a training institution and one of the Philippine Army’s major units.
