📚 Exploring Zamboanga’s Literary Hubs!

ZC Library Partners with Local Schools and City Government for Educational Tour.

On May 22, 2026, the ZC Library successfully conducted an educational tour for Grade 3 to 6 learners representing both public and private academic institutions. Accompanied by their parents, the students explored a diverse itinerary of prominent local knowledge hubs and heritage sites.

The tour commenced at the City Library, followed by visits to the Pilar College of Zamboanga City, Inc. (Basic Education and College Libraries), the Universidad de Zamboanga AELIC, and the AdZU Grade School and Junior High Libraries.

A key component of the itinerary was a visit to the Zamboanga City Hall, designed to foster cultural awareness among the young participants. The visit highlighted the City Hall's role as a vital historical and cultural structure, while providing the learners with a deeper understanding of local governance during a special courtesy meeting with City Mayor Hon. Capt. Khymer Adan T. Olaso.

Empowering Creativity and Literacy at the Zamboanga City Library 📝

🌟 Last May 21, 2026, our Grade 3–6 learners and their parents joined us for a fun-filled Arts and Crafts session.

From building DIY mini choppers and folding origami houses to sketching family portraits, it was an exciting and memorable experience for everyone. 🥰

We also distributed book donations to inspire the kids to keep reading and learning Chavacano! ✨
