The partner-beneficiaries of Project LAWA at BINHI in Brgy. Casacon, Roseller T. Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay continue to reap the rewards of their dedication and hard work as they recorded another productive harvest on July 30 and August 1, 2026.

Across the two harvesting dates, the beneficiaries produced a combined total of 9 kilograms of okra, 6 kilograms of ampalaya, 67 kilograms of upo, 166 kilograms of talong, 37.5 kilograms of kalabasa, and 28 kilograms of atsal. These harvests continue to provide nutritious food for their families while generating additional income through the sale of surplus produce.

The sustained productivity of the communal garden reflects the beneficiaries' commitment to maintaining their crops and highlights the positive impact of Project LAWA at BINHI in strengthening food security, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and building climate-resilient communities.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office IX proudly congratulates the Project LAWA at BINHI partner-beneficiaries of Brgy. Malagandis, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay for their outstanding achievement during the 52nd Nutrition Month Celebration of the Municipality of Titay.

The group was recognized as Champion in the Communal Food Garden Contest and was also awarded Team B โ€“ Top 1 Barangay in the Nutri Kalikasan Community Food Garden, recognizing their dedication, innovation, and commitment to promoting food security, proper nutrition, and environmental sustainability through the establishment and maintenance of a productive communal food garden.

These recognitions reflect the positive impact of Project LAWA at BINHI in empowering communities to become more resilient, food-secure, and self-sustaining. The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office IX, through Project LAWA at BINHI, successfully conducted the pay-out of cash assistance for 250 partner-beneficiaries in President Manuel A. Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte following the successful completion of the 20-day Cash-for-Training and Cash-for-Work Program.

The activity recognized the commitment and active participation of the partner-beneficiaries in implementing project interventions that promote food security, sustainable agriculture, and climate resilience. The cash assistance serves as support as they continue to sustain the gains of the project within their respective communities.

Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office IX conducts Pay-out for 150 Partner-Beneficiaries in La Libertad, Zamboanga del Norte

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office IX, through Project LAWA at BINHI, successfully conducted the pay-out for 150 partner-beneficiaries in La Libertad, Zamboanga del Norte who successfully completed the 20-day Cash-for-Training and Cash-for-Work Program.

Each partner-beneficiary received โ‚ฑ8,280.00 in recognition of their active participation and completion of the program. The cash assistance serves as support while reinforcing the project's objectives of promoting food security, sustainable livelihoods, and climate resilience through community-based interventions.

The successful pay-out underscores the Department's continued commitment, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of La Libertad, to empower communities and strengthen resilience through responsive and sustainable social protection programs.

Update| Unti-unti nang namumunga ang pag-asa sa Brgy. Lumbog, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Ang mga partner-beneficiaries ng Project LAWA at BINHI ay nagsisimula nang makita ang bunga ng kanilang sipag at tiyaga. Matapos ang mga linggo ng pagtatanim, pagdidilig, at sama-samang pag-aalaga sa kanilang gulayan, unti-unti nang namumunga ang kanilang mga pananimโ€”isang malinaw na patunay na ang dedikasyon at pagtutulungan ay nagdudulot ng positibong pagbabago.

Bagama't nagsisimula pa lamang ang kanilang pag-aani, ang bawat namumungang gulay ay sumisimbolo ng pag-asa para sa mas matatag na seguridad sa pagkain, karagdagang kabuhayan, at mas matibay na komunidad. Patuloy na ipinapakita ng mga partner-beneficiaries na sa sipag at pagtitiyaga, unti-unting nakakamit ang mas masaganang kinabukasan.

Ang bawat bunga ngayon ay nagsimula sa isang binhing inalagaan nang may pag-asa.
