The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Zamboanga Sibugay Province, in partnership with the National Authority for Child Care (NACC) through RACCO IX, successfully conducted the three-day face-to-face activity titled โ€œOrientation on RA 11642, RA 11676, and Other Related Laws cm Case Managementโ€ for MSWDO/LSWDO Heads and designated focal persons on adoption and alternative child care across the province.

The activity strengthened coordination and capacity-building efforts among local social welfare offices through discussions on Domestic Administrative Adoption, Alternative Child Care Programs and Services, CDCLAA, Intercountry Adoption, Foundling Recognition and Protection Act, and case management workshops facilitated by Dr. Jaylin Dela Cruz-Sahipa, Jasmin Eloise S. Del Carmen, Simpson E. Ansula, Jr., Jimboy M. Undac, and Emmy Rose C. Ramirez of RACCO IX.

This successful undertaking highlighted the strengthened partnership between the Provincial Government of Zamboanga Sibugay, PSWDO, NACC, RACCO IX, and participating MSWDOs in promoting child-centered and family-based care services.

Special thanks are extended to Provincial Governor Hon. Ann K. Hofer, PSWDO Head Ms. Maricel C. This is it! Today is the final day for Residential-based Social Work Agencies (SWAs) catering to children to submit all their requirements and documents for DSWD Licensing and Accreditation and the NACCโ€™s Certification of Adoption and Alternative Child Care (AACC) Programs and Services.
