CACAO: From Farm to Chocolate 🌱🍫

A learning and knowledge-sharing activity was conducted to promote the potential of cacao production in Negros Oriental, highlighting proper cacao tree care, production, processing, and value-adding opportunities.

Participants were introduced to the different stages of the cacao value chain from growing and propagating cacao trees, producing quality beans, and processing them into craft chocolate, to exploring opportunities for marketing.

Through the sharing of Malika Cacao Craft Chocolate and Glico, the activity emphasized that cacao is more than just a crop it can be a source of livelihood, local enterprise, and economic opportunity for our communities.

With the right knowledge, technology, and market opportunities, Negros Oriental has great potential to grow its cacao industry. 🍫✨
