National Simultaneous Active Attack Drill

On September 3, 2026, at about 02:35 PM, personnel of the Zaragoza Municipal Police Station, led by PMAJ NELSON D SARMIENTO, Chief of Police, participated in the conduct of the National Simultaneous Active Attack Drill held at Zaragoza National High School, Barangay San Rafael, Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija.

The activity was conducted to enhance the preparedness and response capabilities of school personnel, students, and participating responders in dealing with potential active attack incidents within the school premises. During the drill, police personnel assisted in the implementation of established safety and security protocols, including proper coordination, immediate response, evacuation procedures, and securing designated areas.

The activity also served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and communication between the Zaragoza MPS and school authorities, ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to protect students, teachers, and other school personnel during emergency situations. The successful conduct of the drill further demonstrated the importance of continuous preparedness, situational awareness, and inter-agency cooperation in maintaining a safe and secure learning environment.

๐Ÿšจ DEPLOYMENT BRIEFING | DEPED NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS SAFETY DRILL

On September 3, 2026, at 7:00 am Zaragoza MPS , led by PMAJ NELSON D SARMIENTO, COP, conducted a Deployment Briefing for its personnel in preparation for the participation of PNP personnel in the DepEd National Simultaneous Safety Drill on Active Attack Incidents to be conducted in various schools in the Municipality of Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija.

The briefing emphasized the proper deployment of personnel, effective coordination with school administrators and stakeholders, and strict adherence to the prescribed protocols and guidelines of the Department of Education. Particular attention was given to ensuring the safety, preparedness, and protection of learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching personnel throughout the conduct of the drill.

This initiative reinforces the commitment of the PNP Zaragoza Municipal Police Station to support the Department of Education in promoting a safe and secure learning environment while strengthening the preparedness of schools and communities in responding to potential active attack incidents.
