🚧 ACTION AGAINST ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION & ENCROACHMENTS

The Building Control Cell and Enforcement Squad of Cantonment Board Abbottabad are actively carrying out operations against illegal constructions and encroachments within the Cantonment area.

As per the directions of the CEO, Cantonment Board Abbottabad, strict action is being taken against unauthorized construction, encroachment on public spaces, and other violations of Cantonment rules.

⚠️ Illegal activities will not be tolerated.

Residents and property owners are requested to:
• Obtain necessary approvals before starting any construction.
• Avoid encroachment on roads, footpaths, drains, and other public spaces.
• Cooperate with CBA teams during enforcement operations.

Mr. Imran Khan Assumes Charge as Cantonment Executive Officer, Abbottabad

He has formally assumed charge as Cantonment Executive Officer (CEO), Cantonment Board Abbottabad, following the relieving of Mr. Omer Masoom Wazir, who has been posted to Gujranwala as Military Estates Officer (MEO).

A formal handing/taking-over ceremony was held at Cantonment Board Abbottabad in the presence of senior officials of the Board. On the occasion, the officers and staff appreciated the services rendered by Mr. Omer Masoom Wazir during his tenure as Cantonment Executive Officer, Abbottabad, and extended their best wishes to him for his new assignment.

The senior officials also welcomed Mr. Imran Khan on assuming charge and expressed confidence that under his leadership, Cantonment Board Abbottabad would continue its efforts towards improved municipal services, cleanliness and sanitation, development initiatives, effective civic management and prompt resolution of public issues.

Upon assuming office, Mr. Imran Khan emphasized that efficient public service delivery, transparency, discipline, improved civic amenities and timely redressal of public grievances would remain among his key priorities.

The Cantonment Board Abbottabad (CBA) Building Control Cell and Enforcement Squad is taking action against illegal structures and encroachments over/along Nullahs (drainage channels) within Abbottabad Cantt.

Such illegal constructions obstruct the natural flow of stormwater, increase the risk of flooding and may cause serious damage to public and private property.

Residents are advised to:
• Avoid any illegal construction or encroachment on Nullahs, drains and other public land.
• Obtain necessary approval from CBA before undertaking construction activities.
• Cooperate with CBA teams during enforcement operations.

Avoid illegal construction — protect your property and save your assets from enforcement action.
