On the directions of the Provincial Government and District Administration Abbottabad, the District Youth Office Abbottabad, in collaboration with TMA Abbottabad, successfully concluded the 7-day Week-Long Dengue Cleanliness Campaign at Government College of Technology (GCT) Abbottabad.

The final day marked a grand culmination of the week-long initiative, featuring a hands-on campus cleaning drive, awareness messaging, and a strong pledge from students and faculty to sustain these cleanliness practices long-term.

Day 6 | 5th September 2026 | Week-Long Dengue Cleanliness Campaign

On the directions of the Provincial Government and District Administration Abbottabad, the District Youth Office Abbottabad, in collaboration with TMA Abbottabad and partner organizations, continued its active participation in the Week-Long Dengue Cleanliness Campaign.
Government College of Technology (GCT) Abbottabad in collaboration with District Youth Office Abbottabad organized an impactful awareness session on Taharat (Cleanliness & Purity) and Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ.
The session engaged students and faculty, highlighting the importance of environmental hygiene, personal care, and dengue prevention in the light of Islamic teachings.

Day 5 | 4th September 2026 | Week-Long Dengue Cleanliness Campaign

On the directions of the Provincial Government and District Administration Abbottabad, the District Youth Office Abbottabad, in collaboration with TMA Abbottabad and partner organizations, continued its active participation in the Week-Long Dengue Cleanliness Campaign.

As part of today’s public awareness initiative, flyers carrying important messages about dengue prevention, cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and maintaining a healthy environment were distributed among the general public. The activity aimed to raise awareness about preventive measures and encourage citizens to take individual and collective responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean and safe.

On the special directions of the Provincial Government, the Masjid Health Desk Initiative was carried out today across several Masajid in District Abbottabad, including Shehzada Masjid and Post Office Masjid, where dedicated health desks were established to facilitate worshippers and the local community.

The initiative aims to provide basic healthcare services, health awareness, and initial medical guidance to citizens at the community level, ensuring convenient access to essential health support.

This initiative reflects the commitment towards public welfare, preventive healthcare, and accessible community-based health services, bringing essential health awareness and guidance closer to the people.

Day 4 | 3rd September 2026 | Week-Long Dengue Cleanliness Campaign

On the directions of the Provincial Government and District Administration Abbottabad, the District Youth Office Abbottabad, in collaboration with TMA Abbottabad and other partner organizations, actively participated in Day 4 of the Week-Long Cleanliness Campaign at GCT, CoE Abbottabad.

The day featured a youth awareness session focused on promoting cleanliness, environmental responsibility, civic sense, and the active role of young people in building a cleaner and greener community. A joint cleanliness activity with the TMA team was also conducted, encouraging students and youth to contribute practically towards maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

District Youth Office Abbottabad appreciates the valuable participation and support of TMA Abbottabad, IMC, Green Committee, SGC, DRR Club, faculty, staff, and students in making this initiative a meaningful step towards a cleaner and greener Abbottabad.
