Astore is one of the six districts of the Gilgit Baltistan. The district contains the Astore Valley and is bounded to the west by Diamer District (from which is was separated in 2004), to the north by Gilgit District, to the east by Skardu District and to the south by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Neelum District of Azad Kashmir. Astore is connected to Gilgit which is well connected by air with Islamabad(weather dependent) and by road with Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Skardu and Chitral. You can take a flight to Gilgit from the capital of the country and drive to Astore from Gilgit on metalled road. Climate
Astore valley has a moderate climate during summer. In winter it can snow up to 6 inches (15 cm) in the main valleys and up to 2–3 feet (60–90 cm) in the mountains. In Mirmalik valley it snows up to 6 feet (1.8 m) in February. Languages
The main language spoken in the valley is Shina (also known as Tshina). Urdu, which is the National language of Pakistan, is the second most frequently spoken language.There are different dialect of Shina spoken in the region. Since Astore has a history of modest tourist traffic in the summer months, local guides and police in Tarashing or Astore may speak some English. Transport
There were some negative perceptions in past due to rough mode of transport but nowadays there are paved roads connecting Gilgit and Islamabad through the Karakorum Highway. Landslides and rockfall may be an issue in some areas of the Indus Valley. There is a permanent road through Gilgit as well as seasonal road access via Deosai Plateau to Skardu. Here you can obtain all types of vehicles (Jeeps, taxis, wagons, SUVs) and hire jeeps and SUVs at affordable prices. The most used vehicles are Jeeps and SUVs with a local preference for Pajeros and Landcruisers. Places of interest
Astore lies about the massive base of Nanga Parbat, the 9th highest peak in the world. To the south of the Nanga Parbat massif lies Rama Valley, which is home to Rama Lake, with basic facilities for visitors. It has a hotel called the PTDC, constructed by the government of Pakistan. The entrance of the valley is located about 60 km southeast of Gilgit with four side-valleys.RAMA LAKE one of the most picturesque spots, DEOSAI plains.With its majestic mountain scenery , charming views , high challenging passes and unique ethnicity It deservedly a popular destination for the foreign visitors. گلگت بلتستان کے بہن بھائیوں سے خصوصی گزارش

یہ معصوم بچی سال "2007 یا 2008" میں "مئی/جون" کے مہینے میں "داتا دربار لاہور"سے لاوارث حالت میں ملی تھی۔ جس خاتون کو یہ بچی ملی، وہ اسے اپنے گھر ساتھ لے گئیں۔

"یہ تصویر سال 2010 کی ہے، جب یہ بچی ملی تھی اور اس وقت اس کی عمر تقریباً 4 سے 5 سال تھی۔" اندازہ ہے کہ یہ بچی اپنے والدین کے ساتھ داتا دربار آئی ہوگی اور وہیں کہیں گم ہوگئی۔ اس وقت بچی نے جو کپڑے پہن رکھے تھے، وہ تصویر میں ساتھ منسلک ہیں۔

یہ بچی "شینا زبان" میں بات کرتی تھی جو کسی کو سمجھ نہیں آئی۔ افسوس کہ اس وقت نہ تو بچی کو پولیس کے حوالے کیا گیا اور نہ ہی کسی یتیم خانے میں منتقل کیا گیا۔

اب "گلگت بلتستان کے عوام سے اپیل" ہے کہ اس پوسٹ کو زیادہ سے زیادہ شیئر کریں۔

Community-based trophy hunting is serving as an integrated and strategy to protect and sustain in and parts of Hindu Kush Karakoram Pamir Landscape (HKPL)

Our recent research concludes that community-based trophy hunting has been instrumental in halting and eventually increasing the populations of ungulates, while also improving local livelihoods and economy in the HKPL landscape, which is shared by , , , and .

To further strengthen this trophy hunting programme, the research recommends regular of wildlife & understanding population dynamics; suitable allocation of hunting quotas; increasing hunting revenue; and, proper evaluation & careful documentation of processes and their impacts. This will make trophy hunting programmes more in the long run.

What she is saying is " hai thay" in Turkish language which means " be quick or hurry" and same words are being used in Shina Language for " be quick or hurry"
شینا زبان میں تیز بھاگو یہ جلدی کرو کو "ہائی تھے " کہتے ہیں اور آج معلوم ہوا کے ترکش زبان میں بھی یہی لفظ استعمال ہوتا ہے۔۔
