6 Days Training of Master Trainers on ALP Middle Package D under STG Program organized by Training & Capacity Building Wing, Directorate General of Literacy & Non Formal Basic Education in collaboration with JICA.The final day of the 6-day Master Trainers Training Program concluded with a graceful Certificate Awarding Ceremony. The participants showed remarkable enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment throughout the training sessions, reflecting their passion for promoting quality literacy education across Punjab.
The department remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering educators and strengthening their capacities for the effective implementation of literacy programs throughout the province.

Dr. Irshad Hussain Director M&A Directorate General of Literacy & Non Formal Basic Education visited GPE Taleem Schools along with Dr. Zahid Nazir Khan District Education Officer Literacy Bahawalpur to evaluate the overall functionality, institutional development, supply management, and academic performance of the learners. During the visit, they acknowledged and appreciated the ongoing efforts toward the promotion of literacy and quality education, expressed satisfaction with the school arrangements and management, and shared valuable recommendations for further improvement and the effective ex*****on of educational activities.

🏫 Chief Minister Prisoners Literacy Program (CMPLP)

The Second day of teachers’ training under the Chief Minister Prisoners Literacy Program (CMPLP) was successfully conducted at Central Jail Bahawalpur.

The training session focused on effective teaching methods, literacy improvement strategies, and educational engagement for inmates. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Government of Punjab to promote education, rehabilitation, and skill development within correctional institutions.

3 Days Training on Community Mobilization under STG Program organized by Training & Capacity Building Wing Literacy & Non Formal Basic Education Department, Government of Punjab in collaboration with JICA . Literacy Mobilizers from 15 districts including Bahawalpur participated in the training. The training sessions were successfully conducted by Mehboob Elahi, Mobilization Officer at JICA, Mansoor Akhtar Ghauri, District Education Officer (Literacy) Faisalabad and Amir Razzak, District Education Officer (Literacy) Multan.
At the conclusion of the training, Safia Sultana, Director Training & Capacity Building, expressed her appreciation to all participants and distributed certificates among the literacy mobilizers upon successful completion of the training.
