To regulate prices and discourage artificial hoarding, illegally hoarded stock of sugar(200 bags) was sold in open market at govt. notified rates under the supervision of special Magistrate Sohail Abbas Khan at AlimAbad Behal road Bhakkar. A fine amounting to RS.5000 was also imposed.

Guidelines for Consumers
1. A purchase receipt must be received from the seller. A valid receipt contains Name and address of the seller, description and quantity of goods sold, date of sale and price.
2. Date of manufacturing and expiry must be checked at the time of purchase

Assistant Director (Legal), DCPC Bhakkar, Sohail Abbas Khan inspected Fertilizer shops, General stores and bakeries. Violations of Sections 11,18 and 19 found, hence references submitted to worthy DC Bhakkar. These references were moved due to non issuance of receipts, non display of price list, non mentioning of manufacturing-expiry dates on Lashkara beauty cream and Due beauty cream.
