September 26 is United Nations International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons (Nuclear Abolition Day).

It was established to enhance ‘public awareness and education about the threat posed to humanity by nuclear weapons and the necessity for their total elimination, in order to mobilize international efforts towards achieving the common goal of a nuclear-weapon-free world.’

The resolution establishing the day also calls for the start of multilateral negotiations on a nuclear weapons convention – a global treaty negotiated by nuclear armed and non-nuclear States together to prohibit and eliminate nuclear weapons.

Nuclear Abolition Day occurs on the anniversary of the 1983 incident in which a nuclear war was almost initiated by accident (See The Man who Saved the World). The day occurs when world leaders (Presidents, Prime Ministers and Foreign Ministers…) are in New York for the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). And it is just prior to the deliberations of the UN Disarmament and International Security Committee .

Ashura marks the climax of the Remembrance of Muharram. The annual commemoration of the death of Hussain R.A. and his family and supporters at the Battle of Karbala on 10 Muharram in the year 61 AH . Mourning for the incident began almost immediately after the battle. Popular elegies were written by poets to commemorate the Battle of Karbala during the Umayyad and Abbasd era, and the earliest public mourning ritual's occurred in 963 CE during the Buyid dynasty.In Afghanistan, Iran,Iraq, Lebanon,Bahrain, Pakistan,[and India Ashura has become a national holiday, and many ethnic and religious communities participate in it.
Hazrat Hussain R.A and his family sacrified his life for the protection of islam.They teach us a lesson of sacrifice for the sake of Allah and His prophet( P.B.U.H).

25th Aug is the day to tribute our army team which win the sniping competition held at Beijing..Pak army is one of the best forces of the world.They had proved themselves in every field either it was game competition or in the severe circumstances of war.Our brave army defend our country from the worth sight of our enimies .They are serving day and night even they sucrifice their lives for the safety of our country.
Naik Arshad was awarded as best sniper of the tournament held among 14 countries..
So we should not forget the services of our brave soliders and support them by helping their families and giving them honour..
May Allah pak protect our country from every evil and make us courageous to sacrifice our lives for the love of country..Ameen suma Ameen.

International day for Rememberance of slave trade and its abolition.

This day is observed on 23 August every year to remind us about the tragedy of the slave trade in memory of all peoples that is about the tragedy of the transatlantic slave trade. It provides a chance to think about the historic causes and the consequences of the slave trade.
As regard of slave services our holy prophet (P.B.U.H) said: "Be soft with your slaves and provide them which you eat and wear." It was custom of arabs to sale their slaves for the sake of their honour and money.Our Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) abolish this custom by giving respect and honour to the slaves.As a muslim its our duty to treat well with our labour that is working day and night for us.May Allah pak help us to follow the sunnah of our Holy prophet(P.B.U.H) and the teaching of islam..Ameeen!

نصرت ایک ہی تھا جنہوں نے موسیقی کو نیا رخ دیا موسیقار ،صوفیانہ کلام ،گلوکار قوال استاد نصرت فتح علی خان کو ہم سے بچھڑے 23 سال ۔انہوں نے دنیا میں پاکستان کا نام روشن کیا ۔
ایسی سحر کن آواز کے سننے والا ایسا مست اور مسحور ہو جائے کہ سحر ٹوٹتے بھی وقت درکار ہو ایسی آواز کے کسی کیلئے تحریک کسی کیلئے مرہم کسی کیلئے روشنی تو کسی کیلئے دوست ۔

یہ دن محض دن نہیں بلکہ احساس ہے ،ایمان ہے، یقین ہے،تنظیم ہے،اتحاد ہے ،چٹان ہے ،کشتی ہے،خواب ہے ،فکر ہے،سوچ ہے ۔۔محبتوں کی ،قربانیوں کی ،عظمتوں کی ،اعلی وارفع شخصیات کی ۔
اس کی حفاظت کرنا ہے حصہ ہے ہماری محبت کا ،یقین کا ،ایمان کا ۔
ہمیں پتہ ہونا چاہیے کہ اس میں سلطان ٹیپو کا خون، سرسید کی نگاہ دوربین، علامہ اقبال کا افکار، قائداعظم کی جہد مسلسل اور دوسرے اکابرین کا آثار شامل ہے

قومی ترانہ دراصل کسی بھی قوم کے جزبات ابھارنے اور انہیں حب الوطنی کے جزبات سے سرشار کرنے کا نام ہے ۔اس کے الفاظ محظ الفاظ نہیں بلکہ دائمی حیثیت اور ایسا سحر رکھتے ہیں ،کہ ہر سننے والا خواہ کسی بھی شعبے سے تعلق رکھتا ہو احتراما اور محب وطن ہونے کے ناطے جزبات سے لبریز کھڑا ہو جاتا ہے ۔
قومی ترانہ دراصل قوم کی جدو جہد اور قوم کے جزبات کی عکاسی کرتا ہے
پاکستان کا قومی ترانہ پہلی مرتبہ 12 اگست کو ریڈیو پر نشر کیا گیا۔
