👈چترالی نام: منغور (Persian foxtail Lily)جس کا نباتاتی نام: 𝑬𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒖𝒓𝒖𝒔 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒂 ہے،ایک جنگلی، دائمی جڑی بوٹیوں ہے۔ اس کے پتوں کی بنیاد ایک میان بناتی ہے جو تنا کے گرد لپٹی ہوتی ہے، اور اس پر سفید پھول اگتے ہیں . یہ پودا معتدل(temperate) اور ذیلی الپائن(subalpine) علاقوں میں کثرت سے پایا جاتا ہے، یہ چترال میں دیر بہار(later spring) اور اوائل گرمیوں (early summer)میں چراگاہوں، گھاس کے میدانوں اور پتھریلی ڈھلوانوں پر خوب پھلتا پھولتا ہے۔ اس کا تعلق Asphodelaceae کے خاندان سے ہے۔
👈روایتی استعمال:
✓یہ ایک خوردنی (edible) پودا ہے۔ مقامی لوگ تازہ، ناپختہ (immature) پتوں کو اکٹھا کرتے ہیں، انہیں پانی میں ابالتے ہیں (boil)، پھر باریک کاٹ کر پکاتے ہیں تاکہ پتوں کی سبزی (ساگ) تیار ہو سکے۔ یہ سبزی اپنے طبی (medicinal) فوائد کے لیے بھی مشہور ہے، جیسے قبض (constipation) کو دور کرنا، مروڑ روکنے والا (antispasmodic) اثر دینا، اور نظامِ ہضم (digestive system) کے مسائل کا علاج کرنا۔ پتوں کو خشک (drying) کر کے سردیوں کے لیے محفوظ (preserved) بھی کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
✓ روایتی معلومات کے مطابق، کچے پتوں کا استعمال خون کی کمی کے علاج کے لیے کیا جاتا ہے، ممکنہ طور پر ان کی غذائی اجزاء سے بھرپور ساخت کی وجہ سے۔

واپڈا نے اپنی سماجی ذمہ داری کے تحت چترال کے نواحی گاؤں کوغذی میں پرائمری سکول قائم کردیا۔ یہ سکول گولین گول ہائیڈل پاور سٹیشن کوغذی چترال کی کالونی میں قائم کیا گیا ہے۔ واپڈا کے اس اقدام کا مقصد خیبرپختونخوا کے اس دور دراز علاقہ میں مقامی کمیونٹی اور واپڈا ملازمین کے بچوں کو معیاری تعلیم فراہم کرنا ہے۔

واپڈا سکول میں گزشتہ روز تدریسی سال کا باقاعدہ آغاز کردیا گیا ہے۔ سکول کی بدولت بچوں کو بہترین تدریسی ماحول کے ساتھ ساتھ کردار سازی کے مواقع میسر آئیں گے۔

مقامی عمائدین اور طلباء و طالبات کے والدین نے ان کے علاقہ میں یہ تعلیمی سہولت بہم پہنچانے میں واپڈا کا شکریہ ادا کیا ہے۔

WAPDA Establishes Primary School at Koghuzi, Chitral

April 7, 2026: WAPDA, in pursuit of its Corporate Social Responsibility, has established a Primary School at Golen Gol Hydel Power Station's Colony in Koghuzi Village of Chitral District. This initiative aims at providing quality education to the children of the local community and WAPDA employees.

The academic session has formally been started at the School the other day. The school will offer a supportive learning environment, fostering academic excellence and personal growth.

Local notables and the parents have expressed gratitude to WAPDA for this educational facility in the far-flung are of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
