10.03.2026 Sealing of Business Premises – M/s Gulshan Cash & Carry

It is submitted that on 10-03-2026, the undersigned along with the enforcement team after prior approval from Worthy Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office Peshawar and Commissioner DIKHAN Zone, visited the business premises of M/s Gulshan Cash & Carry on credible information regarding issuance of non-POS / fake invoices instead of invoices through the FBR-integrated POS system.

During the inspection, it was observed that the outlet was issuing manual / non-POS invoices, which were not being transmitted to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) POS system, indicating violation of the POS integration regime and possible concealment of actual sales.
In view of the above violation, the premises of M/s Gulshan Cash & Carry were sealed on the spot by DCIR, D.I. Khan, RTO Peshawar in exercise of powers under the relevant provisions of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, to prevent further illegal activity and safeguard government revenue.

Further legal proceedings shall be initiated accordingly.

As part of ongoing POS integration and monitoring efforts, RTO Peshawar, Mardan zone team headed by Mr. Yawer Hayat, DCIR sealed the business premises of renowned Bakery located on Nowshera GT Road for non-compliance with FBR POS regulations.
The action underscores FBR’s commitment to POS compliance and tax deposit.
FBR urges citizens to always demand an FBR-integrated POS (“Pakki”) receipt from Tier-1 retail outlets and to act as citizen tax ambassadors in promoting voluntary tax compliance and documentation of the economy.
