📢 Child Protection Awareness Campaign | Gujranwala

In line with the vision of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Madam Maryam Nawaz, and under the dynamic leadership of Chairperson, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Punjab, MPA Sarah Ahmad (T.I.), the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Gujranwala successfully organized a Child Protection Awareness Session at Madrissah Zia Ul Quran Khiali Gujranwala.

The session engaged more than 75 students and faculty members, aiming to enhance awareness about children's rights, personal safety, and child safeguarding. Participants received practical guidance on recognizing and preventing child abuse, understanding the concepts of Good Touch and Bad Touch, identifying unsafe situations, and responding appropriately to potential risks.

The awareness programme also highlighted the role and services of the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Punjab, emphasizing the importance of early reporting, seeking assistance from trusted adults, and using official child protection mechanisms whenever a child feels threatened or vulnerable. Interactive discussions encouraged active participation, helping children build confidence to speak up and protect themselves.

The Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Gujranwala remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting a culture of child safety through continuous awareness initiatives, community engagement, and collaborative efforts to ensure that every child enjoys a secure, respectful, and nurturing environment.

With the vision of Hon'ble Chief Minister Punjab, Madam Maryam Nawaz, and under the leadership of Chairperson, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Punjab, MPA Sarah Ahmad (T.I.), the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Gujranwala conducted a comprehensive child protection awareness session at Madrissah, Model Town, Gujranwala.
The awareness initiative brought together over 55 students and staff members to strengthen their understanding of children's rights and safety. The session covered essential topics including child abuse prevention, personal safety, child protection, and the concepts of Good Touch and Bad Touch.
Participants were educated about the mission and services of the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, methods for identifying inappropriate behaviour, practical safety measures, and the importance of reporting abuse through appropriate channels. The interactive discussion encouraged children to communicate openly, trust responsible adults, and seek immediate support whenever they feel unsafe.
The Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Gujranwala continues to work tirelessly to create safer communities by promoting awareness, protecting children's rights, and fostering an environment where every child can live, learn, and flourish with security, respect, and confidence.
