A luncheon was organized by the Transport Section to recognize the dedicated services of the drivers and support staff.
Speaking on the occasion, the Incharge RCET highligted the contribution of drivers in the smooth conduct of the University's daily operations and the facilitation of teaching and learning activities. He also commended the Transport Section for its outstanding performance during the previous academic year and appreciated the commitment and professionalism of the entire team.
The Chairman Transport highlighted the section's key achievements during the last financial year, including the renovation of student buses, procurement of new tyres, overhauling of the faculty Hiace engine, and restoration of several campus vehicles. As a result, about 90% of the University's transport fleet has been restored to operational condition.
He further acknowledged the continuous support and guidance of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Incharge RCET along with close coordination with the Chairman Transport, Main Campus.
The event also served as an opportunity to discuss future plans and strategic initiatives aimed at further improving the efficiency, reliability, and quality of transportation services across the University.
